I had an interview for this shoprite specifically with Liz. I was told they have a lot of applicants to choose from and she is only there certain days of the week. Okay that's fine. I waited about a week to follow up since I didn't get a call. I was told they just want to give other people a chance and possibly other candidates specially those who are "more experienced" More experienced? Doesn't shoprite hire teenagers straight out of high school ? I'm sorry but I felt straight up judged the whole time from her as soon as I came upstairs for the interview. Yes I'm very shy and may not have customer service experience but instead of a lame excuse like what she told me , she could have at least told me the real reason they didn't want to hire me. I'm not mad because i didnt get hired, its literally shoprite lol.I'm mad because I was lied to. I worked for shoprite when I was a teenager, unless you completely show up to an interview wasted or high they will literally hire anyone.

Since when did they change the rules of exchanging? I bought this for $24. I picked the wrong one, my wife likes a different flavor. I went in to do an exchange, same brand, same price. They said once you leave the building you can't do an exchange. So you're telling me you're so lazy you can't do a swap. Good job guys. Next time ill just go literally to every other store. UPDATE: Ok just cause you leave an automated response that leads me to call a machine that hangs up on you automatically doesn't make this resolved. There are plenty of other stories that has your products and more and there happy to do exchanges.

Honestly it’s really disappointing the lack of customer service at this location. Today I was told that “it’s not ShopRites problem” and “I’m too busy to even help you or speak to you” it’s frustrating when they are the only larger food store in this area. Today I experienced racial discrimination and flat out rudeness from the manager and the service desk.

I went shopping and the cashier did not scan properly and ascused me of stealing. I had over 300 dollars worth of groceries. Why would I steal. Then she proceeds to say I am not going to lose my job over this. Because she did not put it on the belt. Please be careful with the cashiers. Rude and unprofessional. She held the receipt from me. Saying it is not on here. I paid for them. Then I check the receipt once I get ti the car and she did charge me for them. I went back in and spoke to tje Manger. Her name was Christine. Buyer beware.

I’m am terribly SORRY to have to write this…. However, this is MY FIRST BAD EXPERIENCE with SHOPRITE && their subs. I AM the FIRST PERSON to POST & BRAG!!! I never order fresh subs. I love the GRAB & GO… This (Woodbridge) SHOPRITE had THEE WORST subs. I wanted to drive all the way back. I never threw away their subs. I thought it MIGHT have been me. Store is clean with a good selection. Went in last night 3/3 around 9pm and i unfortunately got in a line with a very nasty cashier named Alicia. She is very rude and unprofessional. Not customer oriented at all, just attitude that ends up reflecting on the store. She needs to be made aware that the "annoying people" in her checkout are the reason she gets a paycheck. Other that the store is great .

Let me first say that my first impression of this supermarket was " WOW" !! It's so organized and clean! Very impressive ShopRite! I've shopped at multiple location in north jersey and this was my first time at the shoprite in Woodbridge! SUSAN was very helpful and informative. I came to her while she was working to tell her this location is beautiful! Loved my visit! The fact that this location has a "slightly bruised and scared" section was also amazing 👏 not that I would buy from there BUT the fact that it wasn't mixed in with the fresh stuff was great! GREAT JOB WOODBRIDGE SHOPRITE 😊
