I take my old Ford Diesel down to this fella when the old girl needs major work. He is thorough and has Jen call regularly with updates. Tells you exactly whats wrong and wont put on parts the aren’t needed. I drive 35 minutes to have Lyons work on my truck cause i know it will be done right the first time.

Being relatively new in the town of Attica, I asked around about Lyons before taking my vehicle there. Everyone I asked held them in high regard. Now I know why there were always vehicles packing their bays every time I drove by there. Despite this, they took my truck in more quickly than I expected. Then, I found out they offer a free loaner vehicle! So, no need to hang around there waiting even though I knew no one to provide a ride home. They made a rather difficult diagnosis and repaired it quickly and efficiently. The whole process was pleasant. I would have made the long drive in from where I used to live to patronize Lyons if I had known what I do now.

This place is a joke bring a truck to get fixed that is just a farm truck to get a few things done. Was qoted over 4200 for exhaust and ball joints. Took it to a lot better place where I ACTUALLY could talk to the owner about the repairs we needed and not just the secretary. Ended up paying this other guy 1200 to do the same job. Watch out!!

I have never wrote a review for any company but there's the first for everything. I bring my truck in to get looked at because the check engine was on and told them look at it and do and inspection. Obviously do the inspection after the truck was fix. They proceed to tell me it is the timing chain that needs to be fixed for $3500 which another shop quoted me $1200 but wanted too use this place because I was recommended to go here. I tell guy Chris this and he immediately changes his mind and says we don't need this part and this I can do it for $2500. I told them I'll just pay him for his time. I then I thought to change my battery because it was reading low and the light never came back on. I then call back and have them do the inspection because they made me pay for the inspection the first time I was there when knowing it wasnt going to pass because the light was on. After the truck passes inspection they charge me another $21. I then argue with the lady while Chris was standing right there and paid the $21 bucks and left. I hope that 21 bucks was worth it to ya you need it more than me. I'd never go back or recommend anyone to this place.

Kris is super down-to-earth and makes you feel like you actually understand what you're paying to get repaired, even if you're not a gearhead. Quite possibly one of the first mechanics I've felt wasn't trying to rip me off - which is a big deal in today's economy. I grabbed some of his business cards on the way out the door, and you can bet they're getting shared. Kris Lyons has my business as long as I'm in the area.

If your looking for great honest service that you can feel confident about this is the place. Takes time to troubleshoot and diagnose problems where other have thrown parts at it. My high mileage truck stays in great shape because of the good service it gets!

they are super nice. Really nice. I thought I finally found my mechanic. But it isn't what it seems. They are super expensive. they wanted 50 dollars to replace a reverse light bulb. it took 10 minutes and cost me 5 dollars. I got 2 bulbs. They charged me 125 for an ignition coil. the most expensive one I could find is 65 dollars. their diagnostic check cost 90 dollars. I guess that's what the dealers charge as well so I suppose that's fair. I guess I'm still going to search for a decent mechanic. Maybe it's just me. But if a part is 65 dollars then that's what I want to pay. for 125 I could have bought all four ignition coils and I wouldn't be having the same issue with my car I had a few months ago because now another coil is bad. Just searched online and I can buy a set of 4 coils guaranteed for life for 102 dollars. Go figure. Guaranteed for life. Thanks Lyons.
