From the the first phone call to the end of our move and everything in between, ever part of the UMC operation was fair, honest, and knowledgeable. They were totally professional; they really know what they are doing!! We called UMC in a panic, our mover cancelled the morning of our schedule move. Bill got on the phone with us, he calmed us down, and assured us we would be taken care of. He gave us a fair competitive quote and working within our difficult schedule (moving from one office to another in Manhattan). The UMC crew got to the office before we did! They were efficient, courteous, and flexible. The finished about 2 hours ahead of our schedule!! I have never written a review for any company, but UMC stands out!! Moving a company is hard but UMC made it bearable. Right from the start the process was smooth. Quick and courteous service from the office staff; they were there to assist you at any time. Move day was smooth too. The trucks rolled up and carts rolled onto them and off they went to the new location. The actual move was completed in just a few hours. Thank you UMC!

Avoid at all costs. If I could leave a negative star review I would. UMC Moving Co are unprofessional and operate a very shady business. Some of the crew could barely walk without losing their breath. Over promised and under delivered, literally. They even left stuff at the old office, charged for their own mistakes then went straight to their lawyers. Do yourself a favour, use someone else.

Avoid On a relocation job they under quoted without any sense of what was realistically possible, under performed, over invoiced for stuff that wasn't agreed. They broke stuff and took too long. I would not recommend people to not do business with them.

The services you offer was very poor, I tried to understand but i cant just wrap my head around the services, you under quoted me without any sense of what was realistically possible, under performed, then invoiced 100% more for 'extra time' which was need through their own gross negligence and bad performance. you better get a good staff and not over age, over weight you will be able to pay stipends for.
