I went in tonight to buy some balloons and New Years things for my children as we would be staying home. I was uncomfortable because the employees were not wearing masks covering their faces. On their chin is not helpful. Then I got home with my four number balloons 2022 that were $10 each. Wishing 20 minutes one of the numbers was deflated. I brought the defective balloon back to the store right away. They remembered me of course, but wanted to refill the same balloon and give it back to me. I nicely asked for a new balloon as that one is obviously defective. The man running the store started screaming at me. It was awful. He called me obscenities in English and I can only assume what he was saying in another language was just as bad. All the customers in the store were horrified and even said so. I didn’t even have to argue with him myself. Other customers in the store told him to stop and just give me a new balloon. It was crazy. What a terrible way to treat customers. The manager is unstable and really just a terrible person. I WAS a very good customer. After tonight I won’t be back.

Brought 20 balloons I purchased online to get helium yesterday. The lady charged 1.20 per balloon. I said they were regular balloons. She looked at them and said a 1.00 each. She didnt fill them up all the way as if she was scared theyd pop. Today the ballons are no longer floating. I come here all the time and the prices to fill helium used to be less than a dollar and the balloons were filled to the right proportion. It was a different lady working there. Was there a change in ownership?

They are o.k. If you need a household item, party items, or an inexpensive household item check there. Don't buy your tolietries there if you don't have to. The store is fairly neat, but you need to learn the layout of the store in order to find what you're looking for.

Rgis place has everything. It is just a little more pricey. There is nothing that is actually 99 cents. Stuff that you can get for 1 dollar at dollar tree is 1.49$ or 1.29$ at this place. Great for last minute things , but you are better off at dollar tree if you can go.

Very rude customer service. I bought sponges that were coming apart when I used one of them for the first time. They smelled very chemically and the top part of it was peeling off to where the glue came off on some of the dishes. The gloves I bought there came ripped straight out of the package. I brought both things back and explained to the sales associate who then giggled with her coworker in front of me about me asking for store credit for the items I just bought. Overpriced and cheap quality. Go to another dollar store.

This is one of the larger 99-cent stores in this part of Nassau County, and while it isn't as attractive as similar general merchandise stores, it has a big selection of items. I needed birthday cards in October, and bought several of them here at .99 each. Sorry Hallmarrk, these were good cards at a great price, and the selection was pretty good.
