Newark Walmart is one of the worst stores around . The shelves in the pet department are never stocked . Most of the employees are clueless about their job . I normally go to an out of town Walmart because the one in Newark is the worst one I've ever been in .

Not a fan of the self-checkout I don't work for them so I shouldn't have to check myself out and after you check yourself out there's somewhere there to check your freaking tag to make sure you checked every scanned everything off on it I'm not there to do their work

They told me I could not make a return with 2 items without receipt. They went on to tell me my only option was to trade the item for another item of same brand but only up to $30. The item I had was $129.99 on sale for $80. The lady next to her had just explained to a lady there is no exchange button and they had to give her store credit. Worst part is I was dealing with a manager. They went on to tell me I have to find the receipt. Issue was the items were gifts and we told them that. We didn't get the receipt. As a Walmart + member this was awful service.

Great customer service and love all the styles, but they could stock up more....

Store was clean and big. Friendly staff and lots of clearance. We stoped in for fishing supplies and they offered more of a selection at a better price then most bait shops. They have live worms as well. Check out was fast and they still have normal cashiers as well as self check out options.
