Always too many people and the popular items are easily out of stock 😔 and I even bought something that's past its sell-by-date because I was in a hurry and didn’t check the date😣 But still, the prices and the qualities of most products are great, the flowers are awesome! It’s still a good place to go.

I visit this place almost weekly,to buy my favorite cheeses,salads,organic bananas, unsalted peanut butter ,fruits etc....the prices are adorable ,the choices plentiful,.. it's always busy.Expect waiting on line to pay.

Rude staff that will ignore you if you ask for help even when they aren't currently preoccupied. To be fair, If he was that would be understandable, however this particular crew member was not. Just too good to answer a question. I miss old non-gentrified Union Square because the level of pretentiousness at this Trader Joe's is unreal.

Sometimes you find some good things to buy, I just stop in to browse. If you get chocolate or food items check expiration date. If the price is really good it's for a reason.

The five-star rating is for Trader Joe's in general, for all the usual reasons: great products, good prices (on most things), and an excellent, cheerful, friendly, and ever-helpful staff. Whenever you ask a TJ's team member to help you find an item, you will never get a "we're out of it" or a finger-point and "it's over there" response; they will always stop what they're doing, and either walk you over to the proper place, or check to see if it's in stock. I have actually had an employee find me the very last item in the stock room! The HR department is obviously doing something right, and their workers make it an absolute pleasure to shop there. As for the 142 E 14th Street store: I only go to this location when nearby, and I need something right away. If you have a few extra minutes, it is worth the time spent walking three and a half blocks east on 14th Street to their other store, between 1st Avenue and Avenue A. That location is more spacious, and offers a much wider variety of products in every department. Also worth checking out are their outpost on Spring Street, and the one on 6th Avenue & 21st Street, both of which are large, well-stocked, and comfortable to move around in. PRO TIP: try to go as early in the day as possible, as the store is re-stocked every night after closing.

As always you can count on Trader Joe's for fresh fruits, vegetables, and experimental snacks such as their truffle oil Cheetos. The customer service here is great, despite being in such a busy area and not my usual Trader Joe's. The store was very easy to navigate, and I was practically in and out within 15 minutes, and I was carrying quite a bit of things!

Poor Customer Service - Flower department employees needs to gain more knowledge when consumers are asking simple questions. The negative behavior/reaction recently deterred me from ever supporting this store, though I have been a valued consumer for almost a decade.

Super clean! If you go after work the shelves are almost empty!! The line is super long! Whenever you go!! They have good variety of affordable food!!! Has always been my favorite grocery store
