I've been struggling with bike fitting watching all the Youtube videos on seat, pedal, bar set ups. Constantly messing around with it all with some slight improvement. My last thought was my reach was too long so I stopped at Full Moon and was greeted by Bethany. I said I needed a shorter stem for my bike. She brought out one and I said can you go shorter. She looked at me and with a smile she said....have you been properly fit for your bike. Well the word "properly" peaked my curiosity. She continued saying that Scott does fittings by appointment and has 20 years of experience. I said, can I see him today. She checked and said if you can be back in 30 minutes we'll squeeze you in. I drove home quickly, re-installed my stem (crooked) put on my bike pants and shoes and got back to the shop. I have to say, Scott is first of all kind, a great listener, a great eye for movement and just brilliant! He made adjustments that allowed me to be centered on my seat, more in balance and able to spin with much less effort, at higher rpms and just WAY more comfortable. Full Moon is a fun place to go, kind people, competent staff, and truly, problem solvers. Stop trying to do it all yourself....for $98...you can have a real pro get you set up. It's worth it!

You can get a bike anywhere, but it's people that make the difference. We're blessed in Rochester with some amazing bike shops, and FMV is a good as it gets. Great service, great people!

This is the first time I've invested in a brand-new bicycle. Staff were extremely helpful in guiding me through my decision, gave me ample opportunity to test-drive the bike, and I was extremely grateful that they took the time to fit the bike to me. Three months later, staff provided a tune-up and even added a bike basket onto my bike rack for no extra labor charge. Kind, polite, and extremely helpful all-around; they made this a very positive purchasing experience.

I had a flat on my ebike and went in to try to get it serviced and they said they won't service any e bikes at all no matter what. When I asked if I could bring the wheel in by itself they still said no pretty rudely and offered no options other than getting an uber. The mechanic was just rude and seemed like he could care less about anyone's needs. Seems like this is a common complaint about this place. Shops like this will not survive doing business this way as e bikes take over. Call other shops if you have an e bike of any kind because this place won't even touch it.
