Terrible. Eric King came out and took my information in December for EmpowerNY. Never returned my phone calls. The office was unhelpful. Finally I called NYSERDA today and found out my application was never submitted! I called the office and the woman who answered the phone was completely blase about the whole thing. They wasted my time and my money. I really needed insulation THIS winter, not next winter! Had I known they dropped the ball I could have gotten another contractor. Just looked on Yelp and there are a few other people who have gone through this exact situation- phone calls not returned for MONTHS and applications mysteriously missing.

10 star job by a standup 10 star guy will recommend Town Building Systems to everyone who needs professional services in their areas of expertise, bought my home in Dec 2019 lots of problems but Nick came out recommended what needed to be done and the rest is history. The crew came to my house and were friendly and very professional. I'm retired, but used to do all the work on my home. These guys CARED about what they were doing. I'm sold. Don't waste your time. Came out gave there speech. Never did what they said. Called them twice.never called back. Happened on 2 different occasions

We hired Towne to insulate our 1950’s built home. They were to blow cellulose into the walls thru the brick. The project was several thousand dollars but our home is drafty and we were very willing to pay to have it fixed. It appeared that there was no insulation in the walls and that is a common problem in our area in older homes. When John and Rob began working, they discovered that we did have insulation and so they could add a small amount more but that it would not help us much with the issue. And so, instead of continuing and charging us thousands for useless work, they stopped and told us they could not, in good conscience, continue and charge us knowing it would not help. I would never had known that they could not blow in the insulation. I would have paid. They wasted a few hours at my house. They charged me nothing. Instead they suggested the issue was a lack of insulation at the floor joist level which they can fix via a different route. They showed me where the cold air was coming in and more insulation from above as we had planned would not help that situation. The honesty, integrity and professionalism they displayed was exemplary. I truly believe many other companies would have “finished” the house and charged me even though it would have been useless. I am very glad I had such a great crew work on my home and I would strongly recommend them to anyone. They will be over soon to fix the issue and I am so grateful to John and Rob for their help.
