Great Guinness. Seemed quiet on a Saturday afternoon. 9/10 for the Guinness. Would highly recommend.

Only been there a few times but great staff, nice ambiance and setup (interiors, basement and the outside booths), very friendly and attentive staff. I wish they offered some quick bites as well with the drinks.

Bartender was nice and it was not crowded two hours into their opening time on a Thursday. Lots of seating at the booth and bar. Their Apple Bourbon Smash was good, especially for the happy hour price, with a nice slice of crisp apple and cinnamon on top. Although in a 10 ounce glass, the Death By Coconut beer was great. It was like a Guinness (with its cream foam top) with a hint of coconut taste. They do have freshly made popcorn (only "food" option) but did not try it. There seemed to be only one bathroom, which was big and clean. Update: The popcorn is nice, warm, and tasted pretty good. You have to ask them for it.

This place is great for late night cocktails & hanging out but what really makes it shine is the service behind the bar. Nichele is one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had, so attentive, quick, friendly, not to mention makes the best old fashioned I’ve ever had. I’ll be back!

Went here last night with a group of about 20 for my birthday. We didn't rent a private area but the staff at Maggie Mae's was so accommodating and offered to put a few tables on reserve for us. Drinks were great and reasonably prices and they allowed us to bring in outside food which was awesome. The staff was seriously the best and will definitely be returning here in the future :)

This place has the freshest Guinness in NY! The staff is super friendly. You can also bring your own food, definitely a bonus!

This rating is overdue but hey better late than never. Pre and post COVID, this place has always rocked. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The drinks and beer selection is awesome. When I do come it's their maple old fashioned and then a beer to end the work night. The draught selection is great and one of the few places I can get the Reissdorf Kölsch which is my favorite. During these recent times I've just been kicking back and having some of the other cocktails and each one is great. Finally love that I can get a bucket of Montauk beers when chilling with the hommies. CHEERS

love this place! The best bar in Sunnyside, great prices, the bartenders are amazing and really know how to make cocktails, spicy margarita and negronis are amazing. The Bartenders are super nice, its reminds me of the tv show cheers, everyone there literally remebers you and your name.

Passed by this bar on our way out of work from the city one hot summer afternoon and decided to try this place. We came in for happy hour and it was delicious! I got the prickly pear marg with tajin on the rim. The music and vibe was cool, I totally recommend this place.

Maggie Mae's bar is a rustic old looking style local bar on Sunnyside neighborhood. It is spacious, dim lit and organized. Interior decor is a mix of rustic and divey style. It has two 20" tvs on the bar. Staff were attentive and professional. They have a Whiskey bar section (lower level) which is reserved for special events. Prices are reasonable and competitive. I ordered Bell's ale. There's a two beer minimum for ccard. A great place to chill and watch sports. And meet friends. Side street parking only. The #7 train subway is 1 block away. Overall, its a good bar with a great service.
