I had an appointment yesterday. I walked in this little cramped space. I saw four people without a mask, including the receptionist. I was asked to give my personal info verbally, name, date of birth telephone number and address, for all to hear. The walls are filled with paper files. The whole appearance is dinky. If no money is invested in digitizing the system, in 2022, it makes me wonder if there has been any money invested in equipment and professional training. I cancelled my appointment.

I see others posted on here about Dr. Mauro as well. She taught me a good bit about my eyes, was quick and efficient, and was kind and friendly. I will go back to her next time that I need an eye exam. The receptionist was also very sweet. I can tell that they have both been doing this for awhile. Dr. Mauro said she has been here for 18 years! Afterwards I ordered new glasses inside, and the salesman that I worked with was patient with me (I was a little disoriented after my eye exam) and had a lot of jokes too. Funny guy. He was trying to sell me glasses in bulk. 🤣 Honestly I didnt value my costco membership very highly until this experience yesterday. It doesnt seem to save me a lot of money compared to lidl, but the eye care associates there are pretty cool.

I saw Dr. Mauro is AWESOME. I was seen about 45 mins after my scheduled appointment, but I kind of expect these delays from any service at this point (car care, dental, doctor, etc.). I've been having migraines and some trouble with eye strain for almost 4 years. I've been to other eye doctors who simply tweaked my prescription. Turns out my last doctor left the "prism" section of my prescription blank 4 years ago and that's been the main cause of my eye strain pains all along! She explained to me how prism works, what we can do to strengthen my eye so I don't need it, and even showed me where and why my old prescription was giving me headaches. I appreciated Dr. Mauro's transparency and kindness and I'm so happy to be having way less headaches now! I highly recommend.

My husband and I have shopped here for years. The store itself is fine, however, the optical department is really sloppy when it comes to addressing customer needs. I literally called them for five days with no answer. Upon contacting administration, I was informed that the only thing that could be done was to transfer me back to continue waiting for a response. Please do not waste your time or dollars here.

I am not sure why Dr. Mauro doesn't have more positive reviews. I think Dr. Mauro is an outstanding doctor. She completed my eye exam in a very thorough fashion and knew more about my lazy eye issue than any optometrist I have ever met with.

Dr Mauro is excellent. Each time I’ve seen her I have been pleased with the exam process and the time she took answering my questions. The receptionist is very kind as well. I highly recommend but be ready to wait sometimes. High volume location.

Both the woman working the desk and the doctor who performed my eye exam were wonderful. I was the last appointment on a Friday evening and they did not rush the process at all. The folks at the eyeglass counter have always been great as well.

I went here in May 2016 for an exam, got a prescription but didn't fill it until several months later when I got contacts. I knew right away the prescription was off. I made an appointment to get a re-check (I called several times for 2 months where the phone would just ring and ring and there was no voicemail). Finally I was able to get a voicemail and the optometrist was out of the office until 1/23. When they returned, I had my appointment and sure enough the prescription was wrong. She wrote a new prescription, but honestly I don't trust it or this optometrist. I had to pay $30 for the re-check which I think is completely unfair since eyes don't change so drastically in months and it was clearly a mistake with her equipment or ability that caused the issue in the first place. Now I don't trust the new prescription and I don't want to waste more money getting new contacts when I am not confident in the ability of the optometrist, so I will have to pay a different eye care center for a new appointment. I have been going to an eye doctor to get my eyes checked every year for the last 35 years, I have never before had an issue or a wrong prescription prescribed. I would not go back to Costco Optical, this was my first time and last time, lesson learned.

The optician is wonderful. I picked a frame ordered it. When I picked it up they didn't fit. They were adjusted but by the time I left the parking lot they were falling off my face. Long story short went back 3 times to have them adjusted (only wore them for 1 day total) finally ordered another pair. Went in to pick them up they weren't the frames I ordered. I was offered a refund. They tried to short me $30.00 on the refund. Then the manager couldn't get the refund to go through on the card that I had originally made the payment on after several tries. I gave him another card and it still took several tries to get the credit through. I said wow this really was a waste of time (4 trips and still no glasses) I was not loud, rude nor did I use profanity and the clerk said you wasted my time too. I am filing a formal complaint with the corporate office the BBB and asking for his termination. or at least a suspension. I have a business account with Costco but my shopping days are over with them.

Longtime customer but went to replace a scratched lens within warranty. Never had issue doing this before. The optical manager Ken however decided he didn't want to provide this service. He lied about store policy and about my client profile to intimidate me into changing my mind, to save a buck. Needless to say I left disappointed, will seek optical services elsewhere.
