We have been customers of RHI since we built our home in 2010. They provided the original carpet, the carpet upgrades we've done since, the tile backsplash in my kitchen, the original tile in all of our bathrooms and, most recently, the remodel of the tile in our master bathroom due to an unfortunate leak. Knowing the quality of work we'd get with RHI, we knew we wouldn't go anywhere else to replace this tile. You know, the choices for tile are overwhelming. But after learning 'my style', Gail was able to narrow down the options and together we put together the most gorgeous master bathroom! The team of craftsmen that she assembled to handle every aspect of this work were second to none. We couldn't be more pleased. Thank you, Gail and everyone at RHI!

We have used Rainbow for new carpet, a bathroom remodel, and hardwood floor re-finish. Gayle knows her stuff and has great people working for/with her. We have been very pleased with the end product of all 3 jobs.

We came across Rainbow Flooring at the Home Show in Raleigh. Gail was very personable and seemed to be well versed on flooring. We had her present us with a quote to sand and refinish our floors. When we met her she told us we could have our floors any color we wanted. Gail's pricing was better than the quotes our Contractor presented us with so we went with her. Low and behold our floors could not be any color we wanted. They could only be a color similar to what we wanted based on the kind of wood we have. Hmmmmmmm. When the company that performs the work for Rainbow Flooring came out (they do not actually perform the work themselves) to show us samples of the requested colors we decided on one out of the 4 options placed directly on the existing wood prepped for staining. Once the process was complete and we moved back into our space (be prepared to be gone for at least a week) we were happy with the color. Then we were told there needed to be a poly coat applied. So we had to leave again and upon our return we saw a completely different color and sheen to the end product. Not what we asked for and we were certainly not told the poly would do that to the color. This is not something the average person would know. We tried living with the color and sheen (we wanted a matte finish) for a couple weeks and we just were unhappy. For what it cost us to have this done we felt it should be done the way we requested. In order to fix the problem they needed to completely resand the floors, restain, and repoly. The floors came out the way we wanted only after approving samples that had been shown to us WITH the poly topcoat so we knew what the end result would be. This came at a cost. Satisfaction is guaranteed......at a price. After living in the space for a little over a month we had some issues. There is poly coat pealing, boards rising and one falling and the area where boards were added are no longer fitting snug. Gail said she would have someone fix the major issues and it should take 2 days. It took four visits and it is a sub par job. Each time someone different was here to do the work. The nail holes were filled with a completely different color from the floor. We understand when you fix a spot it won't ever be perfect but it should blend and this doesn't. It also blew our minds when they accused us of causing the floor boards to drop saying we used water to clean the floors and in turn rusted the nails. WHAT?!?! I hadn't even cleaned the floors yet! My husband observed the ripping up of the boards for the fix and noticed they had never laid any sub flooring in that spot. On top of it, when the job was finished I was called to be told my invoice was ready. WHAT!?!? Then after being put on hold Gail got on the phone and said she would eat the $300 for the job because they can't prove whose fault it was. Unbelievable. Keep in mind they also do not do banisters. I think Gail is a fantastic person and saleswoman but I do not think the quality of work or lack of customer service was worth what we paid. By the time you add up the first process and the last process we could have had brand new floors installed and got EXACTLY what we wanted. It is a tough pill to swallow when you look at them every...single...day.
