Wanted to leave a review,so spring breakers could choose a good rental company. Ease of booking,clean didn't have to real clean,no issues in the house and quick response from Matt thank you Matt. Other than we're sick and have to wait to enjoy our vacation they made it better by letting us enjoy our vacation.This company is great book through them in the Hatteras area.

Where do I begin…. Cigarettes on the floor in the children’s bedrooms along with burn marks, holes in doors, non working jacuzzi tub, HOT ( air does not work properly 84 degrees inside and you are not able to adjust due to it being locked) people coming in and out of the garage to get equipment. Air conditioning unit leaks onto rug outside of the area it is kept. Patio furniture broken (owner did come and replace when mentioned) blinds broken, stains on beds, drawing on walls. Vent dangling from kitchen ceiling and the list goes on. I do wish I could attach pictures for anyone considering a stay my future trips will not include dolphin reality.After all of this they had the guts to charge me hundreds of dollars to have the carpets cleaned 🤬

Carol the front desk lady. She is rude and very unprofessional. When I called to make the reservation she was unprofessionally disrespectful and her knowledge of properties was so unbelievably ridiculous. I had to actually get the owner Nancy to call me to work out the details. We finally got that settled and then after a 10 hour drive which we arrived at 2pm I called to see if the house was ready she said no and hung up in my face. She needs to be fired or just not deal with the public at all. Next year we will be renting from someone else. We went to the house and looked and the trash can was full. Did I mention that check out is 10am it was 3:07 and still no call to allow us entry. She is totally ridiculous and unprofessional. We actually waited at the house and no one has came to clean and it is now 3:11 and still no cleaning crew which means it has already been cleaned and she is denying entry to be spiteful. Or check in is way after 4pm

We rented Will’s Hideway in July, 2020. We were shocked at the condition of the home when we arrive! There were multiple urine stains all over the carpet, spiderwebs were hanging from the ceiling, mouse holes had been chewed at the baseboards in the master bathroom, dust was hanging from the ceiling fans, garbage was around the house outside, the sofa was so dirty we took the covers off and wash them ourselves and the water in the washing machine was black. We could see dust coming from the HVAC filters so we went out and purchased new ones and replace them ourselves. The kitchen is not equipped with the basics (utensils, pots, pans, etc.) that it should have for a rental home. When we notified dolphin realty, the representative did have someone come out and clean the carpet.

Possibly worst vacation experience ever! Of course I understand traveling during a pandemic can result in abnormal processes and procedures but never did I expect what my family and I went through. We were told to bring all our own linens and towels for our protection and to protect the cleaners. With that being said they did not mention the wet matress pads that would be in the washer for us to find 2 days later. Had to sleep with lights on when they worked because the "multi-sized" and aged coach roaches EVERYWHERE!! They are the dirty roaches. They are in the silverware drawers, on the ceiling, all in the bedrooms There was mold all over the decks and inside the indoor showers. The dishwasher full of unsanitized dishes inwhich we thought the smell was coming from. Little did we know it was a Crock-Pot under the sink that had been collecting dripping water for who knows how long. The electric outlets in all the rooms did not work resulting in us NOT to be able to enjoy the 1980's style televisions. The power went of for almost an entire day and also every single night we were there. And when we did have power in the evenings to cook the bottom element in the oven was broken in half. To top everything off I was charged an extra 100 plus 7.00 tax on an extra cleaning fee. Where I received an email informing me that we left a little food in the fridge a pair underclothes in a bedroom floor a torn matress pad which if I could include a picture is very amusing and the Crock-Pot I refused to clean which I have dated photos of as well. Apparently these woman who rent and clean for Dolphin Realty are in dire need of extra cash. I feel bad for them so I even left them a tip on the table after everything we endured during our stay and they have the audacity to charge me an Xtra fee after we overpaid for the dump we were rented. Good Luck to you girls hope you enjoyed a steak dinner and a nice glass of wine on me!

A good budget realty office. Love the cabanas. They hold a special place in our hearts. Had a bigger beach house this year with dolphin realty. it was decent for the price but I think I liked the cabanas more. Probably won't rent the beach house again but I definitely will come back to the cabanas one day with my wife when our kids move out or we need a romantic getaway.

We tried Dolphin for the first time this year; we have vacationed in Corolla for 20 years, but decided to try Hatteras Island for something different. We had a fantastic experience with Dolphin. Their prices are so much more affordable than we have paid in the past, and the house was charming. It was clean, which is always my biggest concern. It had been renovated, but the pictures on the website had not been updated, so we walked in to a new kitchen and flooring...what a nice surprise. We had a minor issue requiring maintenance which was expedient and effective. We just booked next year's stay today!
