Staying at Lookout point run by midget realty. House is nice looking but needs updates! Not enough cooking utensils, dishwasher broken in pieces, hot tub doesn’t operate the way it should and pool is disgusting!!! Called after hours because lights in back of house went out, including hot tub and pool lights and it’s “not an emergency”! It is when I’m paying for it. I do not recommend this to anyone.

We were very much looking forward to our trip this week to Coastal Treasure in Frisco (6/18/22 - 6/25/22) but learned two days before departure that the house would not be available due to the promised pool being unfinished. They blamed contractor issues. Midgett, in the future, I implore you to not make promises you can’t deliver on. We and our grandkids and their parents were all looking forward to a vacation that we’re not getting now. Please, going forward, don’t advertise features of a house unless you’re sure they’ll be there. And please let guests know earlier than two days before departure that the house may not be available. You almost certainly knew this was a possibility long before last week. That way, maybe we could have selected a suitable alternative.

Rental agent, Beth, offered a refund based on rerental without penalty when we saw that the location was not satisfactory. So, we rented a more expensive home a month further out. The rerental of our first unit was for 60% of what we paid. The rerental was 5 months out from our original date, 9/10-17/22, on 4/17. We are being refunded $540 instead of $935. Really bad business.

I am so disappointed to report the poor treatment from Midgett Realty. We have rented with them for many years now but not this year. FYI, they are no longer offering a loyalty discount anymore. Why? Because they don't need us repeat renters anymore. The demand has replaced us. I booked and did a lease and made a my initial payment, but there was an error on their part. They canceled my lease and only offered a bear minimum discount for my troubles because they can replace my business, no problem. So sad that there isn't any loyalty to us long timers. I guess we are replaceable. They would be wise to realize our children will continue the tradition, but perhaps without Midgett.... buyers beware

We have stayed with Midgett for many years. A few years ago the house that we stayed at had a roof leak. We called and they were on top of getting it fixed the same day. We are here for 2 weeks this year and noticed something leaking on the underneath side of the house. Ended up being a pipe from one of the sinks on lower level. They had someone out within just a few minutes of us calling. 100% perfect customer service.

Some of the best service we have ever received from a real estate rental agency. It sounds like Midgett is the largest game in town and has been around for many generations. They have some really nice properties and are extremely helpful in finding the right rental for our needs. Contract process and check in was pretty straightforward. What we found out during our stay is that they have their own property maintenance people to address any issues for the guests so you dont have to deal with any owners directly. This certainly helps keep the quality up. Within hours they had a friendly maintenance person to address a few little issues we had with our rental (light bulbs out and things like that). If you contact them the week of your stay, you get priority to rebook the same week the following year. I have never rented a vacation home where the agency was so open to feedback and go out of their way to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction. We can't wait to return next year.

We were guests in Flight of Fansea this month. Our leaseholder were my parents. We, ourselves, usually rent up in Corolla every year and we spent one week there before joining my parents in Frisco. I have to say, never renting a property through Midgett before, I was pleasantly surprised. The house was VERY clean and so well stocked with anything we could possibly need. The pool was definitely a HUGE plus of this house as well. We spent hot mornings at the beach and came back and spent a lot of time at the pool. We loved our stay at Flight of Fansea and I know my parents have already booked again for 2022!

We have used this company for a few years now. They are always fast, professional and responsive. Specifically, Kelly gave us amazing recommendations to help our family find the perfect rental this year! If there has been anything in the home that needed attention, Midgett has been fast to respond including same day cleaning or maintenance, unlike other companies. Their homes are also very affordable and they don't force you to pay several unnecessary fees. The staff really understands how important every stay is. Thank you Midgett Realty!

I would not recommend this company. We had an accident with a pool ball hitting and breaking a glass door (the pool table was located close to the door) and one of the older kids in our party hit the ball and somehow it caught it just right and it sailed into the door and broke the glass. I would like to say that the after hours maintenance team were wonderful with responding and coming to fix it. However, the next morning a gentleman from the realty came to review the issue and stated that he would split it with me as far as the cost for the new glass. I asked about the insurance and he stated that it is for accidents and insinuated that the kids should not have been playing pool. If that was the case then an age limit should have been placed on the amenities of the cottage. It was truly an accident and now, even though there is insurance in place for things like this, I am going to have to pay a TBD amount in addition to the insurance that I paid for along with the cottage. I am not happy nor satisfied with this rental company and the way this situation was handled.
