My fav thing - the aisles are WIDE. Plenty of good clothing for men and women. The books, not so good. Highly recommend.

2nd worst Goodwill I’ve been to (out of over a hundred, I’d guess.) Many clothes are just dumped on tables, no sizes indicated on the racks they do have, and the help is even more sparse than usual, and don’t show any respect to the customer. Won’t return.

Leland goodwill is always clean and well stocked. They usually have a decent selection of furniture and other housewares. There are 3 other Goodwills in the Wilmington area. But, the Leland one is probably the best one, especially if you are looking for a variety of things.

Filthy. It's understaffed, hasn't had a dusting or sweeping in probably months. No music allowed. Old person choking on dust at register said the employees aren't allowed water on the floor. What???? So, they treat employees terrible it seems and THAT is why it's so filthy.. February 2020 to now they no longer let you Try on clothing, but are PUTTING more on racks, WHY? Taped off fitting rooms, why? I went to the Salvation Army and found what I needed. I won't bother with Goodwill again.

They have a huge store with lots of clothing. The bad part is that what is organized is organized by color. It is just too much to look through. They should organize by size. I wanted to get some shirts. But I did not have time to look at each shirt. So I ended up getting one shirt. If they had been organized by size I would have bought more. Who has time to look through 100's of shirts to find what you want in your size?

I have been buying and donating at this location for about 7 years. Today was the last day I will be attending this location. I had called prior about something I wanted that was in the front. I spoke to a manager AND they assured me to make the 30-minute drive to come down and pick it up. When I get there, very excited for my purchase (and the price was around $160, not at all cheap for a goodwill) I find another lady standing in line with the item I discussed prior KNOWING I was making a drive to come down. I believe the manager knew this, and called up their friends to make this purchase since the 30-minute window frame when I called doesn’t make sense when it was an item sitting inside all day. I am disgusted with this spiteful behavior, and will not returning to this location. The people (and I guess now employees) that come here are Despicable to purposely spite someone like what I experienced.

They need to worry about labeling by size not color. I didn't want to look for clothes because you need to look through everything and look at the size. They should separate by size. And they need carts to put the toddler's in. Because we all know they are unpredictable and tend to throw tantrums. So if they dont have the ability to go wherever they want. We can prevent that a lot better. So If you have a baby in a car seat or a toddler I recommend bringing a stroller.

The employees don't seem rude to me because I never interact with them. It's a thrift store. You buy stuff cheap and don't ask questions. Why would the employees know the answer to anything about the items that were just donated? Do your homework yourself. No, you don't need to try stuff on, the shirt is $3. No, you don't need to return the shirt because it's only $3. If $3 is too expensive then go to salvation army on tag day and buy a shirt for 99¢

I went to this store to find some items for a pup I was adopting. I was able to get a comforter a few blankets to make a few doggie beds, less than what I would have paid in pet store.
