We had a great experience buying a car at Mazda South outh Charlotte last week. Inventory is very limited right now, and we were looking for a specific color / feature combination. When I found one on the website, we made an appointment for the next morning and went down there to see it. We met a sales advisor named Marco, and explained what we were looking for. When he went to get the car, he came back and explained that they didn't actually have it in stock, but that it was in transit to the dealership. From what we're hearing these days once the cars are unloaded at port, Mazda is pushing them into the dealers inventory and listing them as "at dealership", which gives the dealer the right to sell them immediately. We were obviously disappointed that they didn't have the car we came to see, and decided to leave. Marco was very apologetic, and offered to fill our gas tank to make up for the time. He was kind and gracious in dealing with a poor situation that he had no control over. A few days later, I found a similar car on Mazda South Charlotte's website, and called to validate that it was in stock. They confirmed that it was being unloaded from the truck at their lot that afternoon, so we made an appointment to go in. After work that evening, Angel greeted us, pulled the car around, and proceeded to explain everything about it. When we explained that the car was for our daughter, and that she was going to be paying for it, Angel went overboard ensuring she was comfortable with the car and understood all about it. We then had a fantastic test drive, and bought the car that evening. We decided to finance the car, and Dennis the finance manager was extremely helpful. Again, when he understood that the car was for our daughter and that she was on the loan, he was careful to explain to her all the paperwork and every step in the process. Everyone we dealt with at the dealership was extraordinarily nice and made us feel welcome. I've never said that about a car dealership before. Marco and Angel were also very insistent that when her first tank of gas runs low, she should bring the car back for a free fill-up and a wash. I would 100% recommend Mazda South Charlotte, and we will be back when we need a new car. They took a bad situation, handled it very well in a way that the customer still felt valued, and because of that, we came back. A stellar customer service experience!

Overall I will not complain. Angel Garcia helped us with our purchase. Although it was not the vehicle that I initially wanted, the team worked with us on getting into a seemingly reliable vehicle(still would have preferred the CX-5). The lifetime warranty helps as well. We have to figure out a way to make the car buying experience better. It should not take hours to purchase a vehicle. Tough market at the moment.I also would recommend letting the customers test drive the vehicles without the salesman, especially if a family is testing the vehicle.

We drove 22 hours from Texas to purchase the exact car we wanted. In and out in less than 2 hours!!!! Moe, Steve, Mr. Todd and everyone we had contact with were professional, friendly and courteous. They took the time to demo out our new car and explain all features and functions. Could not ask for a better car buying experience!!! GO HERE. If you are anything like me you rely on reviews, HONEST reviews, to decide what places are worth going to. I promise you will not find a better dealership or better people than the folks at this Mazda location. Kiya was our salesperson and Dennis was our financial manager. They are hands down THE best. They made our purchase for a new 2022 Carbon Edition CX-5 so simple, easy, and extremely stress free. I went in at 2pm and drove home in my new truck at 5pm!!!! How awesome is that?! I highly, highly recommend going to this dealership. I am a longtime fan of Mazda and they really secured my decision to only go through them directly for any future purchases. Thank you guys so much. This was my dream vehicle and I cannot thank you enough for making it happen so quickly. I appreciate everything you did and said to make me feel calm. Moe was a great guide through my buying process and worked hard to get me the truck I wanted. He was very informative and transparent as a liaison between sales and the finance team. SCM has a customer for life. On the finance side, Dennis did a great job of making sure I wasn’t overpaying by getting me the best rate possible and not adding any additional products or hidden fees. Would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend Mazda of South Charlotte! This was my first car buying experience, and Zacc was awesome to work with. He is knowledgeable, honest, and went above and beyond to answer all my questions and ensure I had a great experience. Within about 3 hours I was driving home in my new car, and they stayed after hours to make it happen. Highly recommend!

Hunter is the best. I flew in from NJ on Friday night to pick up a new lease for my daughter who just turned 17 today. He had all of the paperwork ready for me to sign, all done within 1/2 hour so I could start my drive back to NJ. Hunter followed up with me to make sure I got home safe and to see how the surprise went! I’ll be back in 30 months to see Hunter and the gang!!
