The best goodwill I have walked into in a long time. They had a ton of good clothes and selections with the best t shirts and womens clothing I have seen in a long time. Smaller sections of household items but overall everything was great

I have gone to this Goodwill store for years but lately it has really gone down hill. The shelves are very filthy with dust and dirt. Anymore, you find many broken items on the shelf. The kids toy section is probably the worst. Zero organization and very dirty. They often harass people about masks but the store itself does not reflect any cleanliness.. I really hope they change

While at Goodwil we found some nice things. Was looking for a bed frame. My wife asked if they mite have any in the back. The guy was kinda rude but said he would look in back and see what they had. She stood there about 12 minutes nobody cake back out. Then another costumer came back asking for help to load a dresser. He came out and helped them. Completely ignored my wife. She stood there a little longer and he walked back by. Looked at her and kept walking like she want even there. Needles to say we put back everything we were gong to purchase and walked out. This sorta thing happened the last time we were in this store so we hadnt been in there in a yr or so thought maybe thered be beter workes by now. Nope so we wil defiantly not be shoping here ever agian. Ill take my business to salvation army where they actualy help people.

Hard to find this place open. No hours posted on either the doors, front of the store or website. Two 45 minute drives over to discover it locked up tight. 2 too many trips. Won't try again.

Clean and welcoming. This is a for profit company that at the same time provides a public service by 1) providing employment and employment training 2) recycling clothing and other items so that they do not end up in a landfill 3) selling items that are still very usable at a reasonable price. The West Jefferson store provides these services to residents of Ashe county. I have purchased items here and I know people who have decent clothes that they would not have been able to afford new.
