I chose Colour Bar based on the good reviews I read and they did not disappoint! I am new to coloring my hair and Shannel did a great job of listening to what I wanted. I walked out feeling fabulous! She is very professional and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist. Walked into Colour Bar Salon to a warm and friendly greeting. The salon is beauty oasis. Spaciously laid out, there’s comfort everywhere. Describing to lovely hairdresser Shannel what I hoped to accomplish on this visit, she was a ready to cover my extensive gray with the right shade of colour. Each step towards the end result of what I asked for was carefully done to both our liking. Completing the success of covering the gray, Shannel trimmed what was necessary making sure the strands of hair nearest my face wouldn’t be in it! Fantastic and revitalizing experience. Little late in posting about this place! Moved here last summer and as many people that move it's hard to get someone to do what they did to your hair in your former area. Not only that, BUT my son was getting married and this place had to get it right during this critical MOG time! Katie Hewitt is the best! She made me feel calm, she matched my roots just like what I was used to and most of all she has a great personality! I love going to see her every month. Look no further, this is your salon!!! This was my first trip to the Colour Bar and everything about it was exactly what I needed and more! Madonna was so patient with my hair care needs (I have VERY thick wavy hair that needed lots of TLC) and gave the BEST scalp massage I have ever had. The owner (Beth), was so sweet and accommodating as well! This is the first time I have ever walked away from a salon experience and been completely satisfied. Thank you Madonna!! His girlfriend.... I got my hair highlighted this weekend by Katie. I don’t write reviews, hence no account. But, I needed to get on here and support Katie by saying she is amazing. I have gotten my hair highlighted for a long time and this was the best! We just moved to NC and it is scary to go to a new salon not knowing what to expect! She is so sweet and friendly and easy to talk to.. on top of doing an amazing job. If you are new to the area or just what a change you have to come check out this salon and see my girl Katie!!!!!

Went to The Colour Bar for my 1st time last week. Always stressful to change stylists. Prior to my consultation and then maybe their services appointment, the front desk listened to me describe my hair style, color and what I was looking for. They suggested Mahaliyah as a stylist. I could not be happier with her service. Mahaliyah spent time explaining her suggestions and how she was going to correct my lopsided haircut. My highlights have never looked better. Just got back from my first time at Colour Bar and couldn’t be happier with my experience! My stylist Jessica R. did an amazing job breathing some life into my long, straight boring hair. I cannot say enough great things about Colour Bar! After a couple bad experiences and hair damage, I took my time to search for the best. Beth has restored my faith in stylists and my hair is back to great! She made sure I loved it and went out of her way to make my color and hairstyle perfect.
