Recently decided to visit after reading the google reviews. Store is well organized and staff is friendly, however the prices of the items were higher then expected and even higher then the goodwill. I understand that the proceeds go to a good cause, but a small casserole dish was priced at 12.99 and other items were priced high as well.

Wow. I witnessed donations and customers leaving this place because they make you use the MASK. Just be aware you NEED A MASK TO SHOP in this place, also the good donations are going somewhere as I witnessed trucks with GREAT STUFF LEAVING mad as they notice shoppers turning back.

Great prices on furniture. Get there before the resellers do. Great prices on clothes but need to look closely. Children's clothes are great and cheap. All items are generally reasonable priced. Shoes too. I have gotten nearly new shoes there. A helping organization for those who are changing their lives. Highly recommend you support their rescue mission.

Love love love this place. I found real amethyst, geode and crystal which have always been my favorite. Brand new game and lap desk that matches my house that I’ve been wanting for less than half the usual price. I moved here from l Amish country and miss it so much and have been collecting these wooden buildings for awhile that’s a Pennsylvania Dutch thing and found one here that’s stamped the same as my others with a cat. My daughter is autistic and loves wooden toys which are usually expensive and usually search thrift stores for which was easy in PA and found some here. My husband loves eagles for his critter den and I found a plaque here. I walked in not expecting to need a cart and I ended up needing one which the doorman got for me and when I was leaving the 2 loaders outside asked if I needed help carrying stuff to the car. Even the cashier was sweet listening to my babble about how each thing I bought had a special meaning to me and my family. Plenty of parking and great location on castle st that I found to very much like.

This is my favorite thrift store in Wilmington! I go here nearly every other week if I can! The staff is friendly and most items are very well priced. There are some items that are overpriced (in my opinion) and most of those items are on the back wall (glassware and such), but I love getting books and onesies for my son and materials for my classroom. It is very fun to walk in when they have a sale going on such as 10 cent books. It's very well organized and Tina, one of the workers are the register, is such a sweetheart! Thanks Tina, for being the friendliest every time I walk in!

This place claims to do good things for community and homeless. They bring in a lot of money from free donations that I as well as many others always wondered what infact they do with all that profit. They have a house manager that treats people who live there so rude and talks to them like they were nothing. Simply because they have nowhere else to go. The place is infested with roaches and although these concerns were brought to the boards attention, the house manager is still there. Although the store has underwent a new look and floors. I am not sure of the living quarters for the homeless people who live there. Last I saw it was a filthy place for anyone to live. When I personally had a problem and was kicked out after always being a model house guest I received no support from the Director or board members including owner. Even though I was told that I was a success story for them by doing everything right, went to school and found a job and did all that was asked of me. I then was kicked out for taking a short sit down break on a Saturday after already working 50+ hours at my real job and paying rent. I'm now thriving but don't want to see what happened to me happen to someone else. The idea is great, the reality is a disaster.

Rescue Mission of the Cape Fear has a cool thrift store where you never know what you might find! One constant is the warm, positive faith based environment that always leaves me feeling uplifted and grateful. Prices are crazy low ($1 per piece of adult clothes!) and there is always a new supply of furniture, books, housewares etc to browse. Plants from the Ability Garden are often available for purchase, and there is usually some food available to anyone who needs it.

The gentleman that runs this place is so nice. Nice to see all these less fortunate people have the opportunity to work and earn them some money. Very inviting atmosphere. The prices are great and always new stuff coming in. This place is always my first stop when thrift shopping 😁
