This Food Lion has a convienient layout and the good management and service is typical for other Food Lion locations in the area if not in general. The store is one of the few that has less checkouts and feels less spacy. However, this store is recomended for a quick shop in the area if your are a fan of other Food Lion stores.

A fairly well-run store. If only they would keep their store brand cola diet cola and ginger ale and stock.

Clean store friendly people. Good produce and love the Deli. I buy sliced pepperoni for my lunch. It is the closest store to my house. Store always seems clean. Isles are never filled with stock waiting to be put away like other stores. Staff always greets me with a friendly face.

One of Food Lion's older and smaller stores, however the employee's are friendly, courteous, and helpful. Rosalyn in The DELI, cooks fantastic and yummy food! 😋 Doesn't matter how busy Rosalyn is, she greets you with a beautiful smile, and will assist you with everything you need, too satisfy that craving you're been waiting to fix!!👍🏽👏🏾

This is why I go to other grocery stores now! They have no self check out. They’re pretty much always out of everything I need whenever I go. Was there the other day and they only had one line open with about 4 people with their carts full and I only had one item. the woman at the checkout was doing all the work and one guy was literally standing behind her doing nothing when he could’ve opened another checkout line.

I am going to avoid this Food Lion in the future after a hostile experience with a cashier (head cashier?) over a small order of about 5 items. At checkout, my spouse and I were trying and figure out the conflicting pricing of a sale item that had two different signs. The computer readout was also confusing, so we asked to remove the offending item from the order rather than risk being overcharged. This request was met with arguing, eye rolling, head-shaking contempt. I was taken aback by the level of aggression this woman had while trying to prove that she was "right" about the final discount price. I know it's not the cashier's fault the signs were weird, the register display is buggy, and I know working retail can suck...but this was an over-the-top reaction to a small issue. Frankly, this kind of nastiness just ruins my whole day. She put effort into being petty! Wouldn't it have been easier just to NOT be mean? To just say, "OK, I'll take off the item, sorry for the confusion?" Heck, I would have offered to put the item back on the shelf, but she was too busy trying to humiliate me as she finally "beeped" the item off the order. All I could manage to say was "I don't need this stress." The Food Lion on Hawthorne is much better in terms of employee professionalism. Thank goodness, I can so easily shop somewhere else! That way, I know I won't have to face this individual again. Problem solved! Thanks for reading my rant, it was cathartic.

Any who knows me knows that I am a Food Lion fan. This also makes me compare other Food Lions to my favorite Food Lion located in Alamance County. This Food Lion is right up there as being one of the better ones. Friendly and helpful staff, easy accessibility, and a clean stocked store make for a great experience. I will be back if I’m ever in this area again.

Decent grocery store off of Country Club Rd. They have a newly-remodeled store with decent local items, okay produce, low prices on non-perishable items, and a surprising amount of gluten-free and dietary restriction foods. The staff are friendly and the restrooms are ♿ handicap accessible along with having ♿ handicap-accessible parking.
