There were 3 clerks working with 2 other customers in store- the 2 other customers were waited on but I could not get waited on. Not 1 of the 3 clerks working even acknowledged my presence or said I will be with you shortly. It was as if I was invisible . I will never go back only to be treated like that.

I personally find the way the owners treat the employees is disheartening. I’ve been in here a few times while these situations were occurring as I stop in Often on my lunch, and it’s usually a short woman causing the scene. From what I understand they own several businesses in the village. I’ve seen this woman get in full loud verbal arguments over things like pre-chunked cheese sizes/quantity and threatening remarks about wage docks for clocking errors. I love the atmosphere of the historic building and the homely feeling the employees bring but I avoid this place most of the time now due to the negligence of the owners. Last disclaimer another detail I learned from an employee is there a long trough that holds baskets in the far back corner, it is full of water at the bottom….this water is sewage from the unit above…it was never cleaned. Avoid buying baskets.

I got a half sub and small salad food was great and fresh also had pumpkin fry pie. Located in Roscoe Village there’s even a blacksmith shop there

Came in on a Saturday during the Stay Safe Ohio order. A small but sufficient general food store that makes you feel like you went back in time. Friendly service and they offer a good selection of products. Including ice cream and made to order sandwiches. Ice cream prices are very good (1 kid and 2 small sizes was 6.50) Well worth the stop if you are exploring the area of Roscoe Village

We came to Ohio from Mississippi and wanted candy Buckeyes so we got there and the candy store was closed, and the manager was so nice she let us in. We loved the stores and selection of candy bars as well as the Buckeyes!

Beautiful Old Time Country store setup . Featuring hot soup of the day and an excellent Deli . Outstanding Sodapop selection . In the far back of the store is an ice cream and sandwich shop . When visiting Roscoe Village I would highly recommend this to be a destination
