Another customer was talking on her cell phone, as she was shopping. We passed one another in several isles. About 10 minutes after I first noticed her, an employee named Lisa approached her and asked “are you just gonna hang on the phone or are you gonna buy something”. The customer appeared to be your typical person, well spoken, well mannered. There wasn’t anything suspicious about her at all. I overheard her telling the manager that she has lived down the street and has been coming to that location for years and years, but will never be back. They’ve lost my business as well because of Lisa. There’s a difference between someone doing their job, and doing something unnecessary and uncalled for.

The store on Pleasant Ave in Hamilton Ohio is the worst. Majority of staff are extremely rude and this is now the second day this week they're closed at 9:45PM and their hours say open till 10PM. 2 other customers attempted to shop there as well but unfortunately the doors were locked. If you're not going to stay open till your stated time, then please change your hours on your door and on Google. Terribly frustrating when you walk 10 minutes to the corner store just to find out they've once again locked the door early. From now on, I'll walk the extra few minutes to go to Walgreen's. I can't justify giving Family Dollar my business anymore. O and they permanently have a "NO CASH BACK" sign up because they don't want to deal with it. Well, your website says you offer cash back on debit card so why the sign??

I live three blocks from this location and have shopped here for years. Usually simple items like toilet paper or a snack are what I get. Recently I noticed the store management has changed and things have gone down hill quickly. The welcoming and friendly environment is gone and I feel like I just get stared at like I'm gonna hold the place up or something. I'm a friendly person and never give retail workers problems, because I used to work retail and I know how it is. I would not recommend shopping here. There are plenty of similar stores on the same strip of Pleasant Avenue, I for one will travel an extra block to avoid this store.

This location is alright. I noticed some Family Dollar Locations have items that others do not. So sometimes I have to go here for things & a different location for other things.

This place is very sloppy, merchandise all over the place, boxes on the ground. Carts from the back are in the way, cannot shop peaceful nothing is in order! The Fire Marshals should be notified so they can be fined!!!! Soooo disorganized! This place needs better management and CEO! This place needs to be cleaned up!!! More employees on the floor!

I never have no problem when I go into that particular family Dollar I pretty much know where everything's at..... I did notice them spots for the roof was leaking and they had buckets catch in the water but we've had enough rain that I'm not surprised...the people that work there vote has been friendly with my experience going there..

Very unprofessional staff, rude, the store is a mess and the manager talk to me like I was a criminal because I didn't stop at the register and tell someone that I wanted to do a exchange. The reason why I proceeded to get the item that I I was exchanging for is because the cashier was busy and I didn't know that was their policy, the manager implied that I could have taken merchandise in the store and said I was exchanging or something like that, wow! I just purchased what I wanted to exchange a few hours prior and I had the same clothes on,but I guess she didn't recall asking "if I was ready to check out " after standing there several minutes while they engage in conversation which should have not been in front of customers. That was my first and last time shopping at that Family Dollar. Unbelievable!

Always close 10 to 15 minutes early. Staff is rude. Can't buy items you need because store doesn't have change for a $20.00. I come here 4 times a week. Going to have to find a different location.
