Trying to force self checkouts when you have the least competitive prices in the area is horrible business. Their is one cashier working with a line of people waiting to checkout that do not want to use the self checkout. It’s one thing if it’s a few items but with the cost of goods you shouldn’t be cutting your labor like that it looks terrible and eliminates human interaction even more. Gonna drive out of my way to other places like Aldi/Kroger.

I spent half an hour waiting for the lady from costumer service to fax 2 pages. She had no idea how to do it.She asked her manager, some short lady, that was totally not interested in helping her, and she just said to her, you got it and left. This lady tried and finaly after30 minutes, she said its all done and I can go now. The fax report said its UNSUCCESSFUL. I complained and she call her manager for help, and she just told her its not their fault its the other end that doesn’t work. Off course , what else can you expect from place like this, I was not offered refund for the service I payed and didn’t receive. I went somewhere else, and the fax went through in a minute. I don’t blame the lady that didn’t know how to do it, but her manager, she was awful.

I love this Giant Eagle Market Place. The staff is great. They have great prices and items that aren’t in traditional Giant Eagles. One of my fave things from here are the baked goods (cookies and cream cupcakes). They also have my favorite lemonade Me and the Bees.

Three different clerks could not help me find what I was looking for. A vegan cheese was advertised as available and only one kind was available. Prices are higher than other stores. Only self check out open at 9:30. Pathetic experience.
