We had a great response upon the initial request to install some hardwood flooring in our dining room, but after that it was mostly crickets. Were told the day he would be over, but never showed and sent a simple text saying he was backed up. When we asked when he would be able to make it, there was no response. This is not professional in any capacity, especially since the messages were read. Phone calls were not answered or returned. If too busy, please just let potential clients know. Saves a lot of headache for both.

I do not take to writing negative reviews lightly, but please view the photo’s of my floor along with my review before you hire Eddie. • Extremely Unprofessional • Poor workmanship We hired Eddie after having part of our floors sanded and installation started in two additional rooms. After letting our initial contractor go, we thought, we would hire Eddie because of his good reviews and years of experience to complete the job. We were incredibly let down. Eddie said he would go through the entire floor and make sure it was sanded appropriately and that he would install wood flooring at the threshold to our dining room and repair any errors are last contractor made. After the staining and two layers of oil-based poly, were applied we finally returned home. (Due to pregnancy, I did not return home for a few weeks after this was completed.) Upon walking in we noticed that the floors were not properly sanded or cleaned before stain and poly were applied as there was rounded sanding marks and pet hair in the poly. (Our dog had been at my mothers-in-law’s home for a month before Eddie finished our floors and didn’t return for over a month after he finished them.) There appeared to be bubbling, stain marks and he even missed portions of sanding and staining on our stairs. A few days later my husband stepped on the threshold to the dining room and a board cracked due to being installed improperly. We were not happy but chose not to say anything as we were just happy to be in our home again. Approximately 30 days after having the floors cure, we had contractors install a kitchen island. Due to this the floors were covered with paper and taped with masking tape. This masking tape ripped the poly right off the floor. At this point we decided that we should contact Eddie when the rest of our renovation was completed to come repair the poly. (I wasn’t even going to mention the other issues.) After leaving two messages for Eddie he finally called back with an attitude. He told me none of this was his fault that this would be normal if tape was put on Poly. (I was told by two other floor guys that this should not happen on oil-based poly with 30 days cure time.) Eddies tone was loud, aggressive, and accusatory, so I asked him to lower his voice as it seemed he was yelling at me. He told me that this is how he speaks, and he continued to talk louder and then he started to talk over me. He said I was asking him to fix something for free that wasn’t his doing. Yes, I was asking him to fix this and I believed it was his mistake. So, I brought to his attention the other issues I never mentioned before because I did not feel like my request was unfair. He continued to speak over me, telling me if there was an issue that I would have called immediately. Throughout the entire conversation Eddie raised his voice at me and told me that I was in the wrong. The conversation ended with him speaking over me telling me that he just woke up from a nap and had to put his kids to bed and that I should be thankful he called me in the evening. Finally, he accused me, a paying customer of being unprofessional for asking him to not raise his voice at me and to come take a look at the issue. He said again that this is unprofessional and that he would call back the next day. It has been days and he has not called back. Service: Repair flooring

eddie is very professional about his work. He came in and gave me a quote, and good recommendations on how to fix certain issues with my floor. After he gave me the quote and I scheduled with him he showed up on time and got the job done in 4 days (sanding, stain, and 2 coats of poly). He is very professional and will not leave until the floor is "right". He truly gets the "would you show your mother that floor" mentality. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Keep in mind the guy is crazy busy, so if you call and he doesnt answer immediately dont hound him. He will get back to you as soon as he can and if he sets a schedule with you he will keep it.

We called three different guys and Eddie responded within an hour, on a SUNDAY!! And he was here at our house the next day on Monday afternoon to look at our floors and give us a quote. Eddie also showed us before and after pics of a job he had just completed that were the same pine as ours and in much worse shape. Needless to say, we hired Eddie and our floors are STUNNING!!!! We also needed some patchwork done in a few areas and his patch work is FLAWLESS, and if something is going to show a little bit, he tells you and give you many options. Eddie is a true professional, has infinite integrity about his work, and his staff, and his work is incredible and very reasonably priced. We highly, highly recommend Eddie. Thank you, Eddie!! I WAS super excited to work with Eddies hardwood floors. He called back right away the first time I contacted him. He said he would be able to do the work and give me an estimate if I gave him the dimensions of the rooms. We measured the rooms, texted it to him and never got a response :( texted multiple times, called multiple times and left multiple voicemails. If Eddie is too busy to do this work, at least call back and let me know. Super unprofessional and disappointing.

Eddie, etal has done multiple jobs in my home. First a large hardwood living room floor which had been neglected and covered with a rug. He patched the holes so they were undetectable and it is simply beautiful. It's been a few years and still has not lost it's luster. A year later I hired him to remove the carpeting from two 15 step stairways to reveal the hardwood there and refinished those, he had to install wood on one of the landings and it matched perfectly. Those two after a lot of traffic have remained beautiful. His workers are courteous, his prices are fair, his work is excellent and the jobs are done quickly. My neighbor has used him at my recommendation and is thrilled with the work. Highly recommend his company.
