You have not lived until you've tasted their avocado toast. Superb. Coffee concoctions are amazing, the type of coffee beans they use, wherever they're from, or heavenly. Staff is always happy and smiling, and the building definitely has a very strong sense of history to it. You could read that anyway you'd like 😉. I'm not going to say it's haunted, but my spine was definitely tingling walking around that old building. Whether you sit inside or outside, it's a wonderful relaxing coffee experience 😁.

Love the aesthetic! The vibe was really calm, a good thing place to go if you want to just chill.

Great place to catch up with friends and grab a bite.

The barista was absolutely incompetent. Initially she forgot to make the drinks for the customers before and then continued to forget to make my order. After I reminded her to make my order I received the most poorly made latte I have ever drank. Very disappointed

The food is okay but it’s pricey for what it is, the coffee is ridiculously overpriced and they offer absolutely no size choices for their specialty drinks. They take forever to make your order, whether it’s a single cup of coffee or a full breakfast. I can only assume they’re growing the beans themselves. Also, why am I being charged an extra .50 on a cup of coffee for selecting a size, when you only have one size? I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt when they took over the Beat, but it’s disappointing.

Coffee quality has degraded, as they're no longer following the golden brewing ratio. Tastes like diner coffee. Got kicked out because staff wanted to go home hours early. Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes … More

Beyond disappointed, frustrated, and annoyed. I used to go to Pressed often while I was an undergrad student at YSU. I stopped going there because it is not affordable for what you get. Today was and will be the last day I will get food from Pressed. I paid 21$ for this meal which insanity. I ordered avocado toast at $7 and eggs at $4.50 with a medium coffee at like almost $6. I also ordered for curbside pickup and after waiting for more than 10 minutes outside, I decided to go inside and see that my order has been sitting under the pick up window - by the time i reached work (which is just in WCBA on campus) my eggs were already cold, so I can only imagine how long my food sat there for. If I would have seen my meal before I left, I would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else so I could get a decent meal for lunch. Website photos are not accurate. RIP - OFF

This is an adorable little coffee shop inside a vintage house on the edge of the YSU campus. I stopped by for breakfast when I was passing through town and I'm so glad I did. The coffee is delicious, as was the white chocolate strawberry waffle I had. There's seating in two rooms of the ground floor, in what I believe were once the house's living and dining rooms. Additional seating can be found outside on the porch and in the front yard. I only wish I lived closer so I could spend more time here, especially to try some of the other menu items. The YSU kids have it good.

I went there the first time today and I loved it. The prices aren't bad (which is great since I'm a college student) and the service was fast ! They don't have public WiFi, but if you are a student at YSU you can get a medium to weak connection to the "ysuwireless" network and if you aren't, you can connect to the "YSU_guest" network which also is medium to weak. The vibe is amazing! It is a house-style building with seating options in different rooms, upstairs too I think (I didn't go up there but I think I saw other patrons do so). The lighting is low and relaxing with folk style music playing, along with some other genres. It was a great and relaxing study environment.

My favorite place to get coffee in downtown Youngstown. Located on campus inside of a beautifully renovated old house with lots of character! The waffles are impressive
