I often stop for breakfast sandwiches on my way to work but recently I tried a bowl of their Chilli and I have to say it's out of this world delicious 😋

Literally perfect. Not like "oh haha hit the spot - perfect!". No. I mean technically flawless and (what I ordered) is a complicated & nuanced sandwich which needs to be prepared fresh and with a high degree of technique in order to hit properly. Daisy Hill's version of the Chopped Cheese that I had around 11:30a on Wed 7/13 prepared by Shawn (hope I spelled right!) is the exemplar of what the dish should be and that's just the tip of the iceberg in my experience today I watched the line communicate; listened to the front end actually care about one another. Saw food running & bOH activity being carried out with safety, efficiency, and professionalism ongoing and at top of mind This place is beyond a gem. It truly hurts my spirit && I wish I could speak w the negative reviewers individually - in traditional professionalism, grateful that ownership already has taken the time. Pulling off this menu, to this degree of accuracy & quality, in these settings is - in my eyes - really not anything short of a miracle. I love food right? But service is what usually makes me stop and actually leave my thoughts in review. This restaurant (the greater business as well) is world class. If you don't see that it's not because the love, effort, and commitment by the staff aren't there. We're all human and working a thankless job under challenging conditions & being subject to constant scrutiny for years will change anyone. From what I saw today? For the better. Iron sharpens iron and I am truly looking forward to returning to Daisy Hill. This is the kind of place I hope to bring my grandkids to someday and now joins Xico (review forthcoming), Aqui Es, Sushi Yasuda, that one roadside grill outside of Mexico City, and Jungsik as being core food memories I'll cherish for as long as I can Thank you each truly. Stay blessed always PS: Fam the coolers run (estimated) a degree cold and about two degrees below beverage minimum spec. It's like 86 out full sun Do y'all have any idea how expensive this is to maintain? And how it literally adds 0 margin to packaged beverages bc they're bought wholesale?? Un-believable commitment to customer service is all I see when I look at that wall and a whole lot of experience and respect

Daisy Hill cheesesteaks are fantastic, especially the Pepper Gravy steak…and don’t forget their fries…YUM!! My kids had chicken fingers and nothing was left, ha! They were super busy and yet, everyone was so pleasant. Don’t know about you, but customer service goes a long way for me!

Stopped in on my way to work. Cashier was super friendly. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place!!

I stopped here to order lunch on the go....never again. I placed my order and then after standing in line for 5 minutes, I was told that didn't have what I had ordered. I was offered a substitute. I graciously agreed to the substitute. I ended up standing around and waiting for my order another 5-10 minutes. The bottom line is this; the food is over priced, the service is slow, and the cooking staff seemed very unhappy doing their jobs. The kitchen staff had frowns all around, and moving very slow. The person cooking was doing everything but paying attention to the orders in front of her, therefore she wasn't getting the orders out in a professional timely manner. The café end of this business needs to improve. They need to be more organized in the area of everyone knowing their role in the kitchen, in order to make the kitchen and the service run smoothly and professionally. They need to pick up the pace, as to get orders out in a professional and timely manner. Also before opening the café for the day, they need to know exactly what they have in stock. If they are out of a menu item, they need to adjust the menu for the day and update staff of the change. All menu items should be stocked and prepped before opening the café doors for the day. Also....turn those frowns upside down and offer service with a smile. Finally, the menu prices need to be appealing to customers. A small Gyro should not cost $10. If you're going to charge $10 for such a small gyro, at least throw in a small order of fries and a pickle spear making it a complete meal. If I were a secret shopper, I would have given a very low score in the end. The food was delicious, but the service needs improvement.

The food is exceptional. The Hungry Boy is a favorite sandwich of mine. The staff is always nice and it a nice Mom and Pop business.

Stopped in tonight after a long ride from NJ asked the cashier for the key to the bathroom and was told their bathroom closes at 8pm ? Since when does a bathroom close ? Especially one that you need to ask permission before using ? Thank god for the new wawa down the street. I didn’t want to give the Cashier a hard time but definitely won’t be going back

I usually avoid coming here, because the owner is shady. If you paid by debit, a little while back, they wouldn’t give you your change back if you overestimated how much gas you needed. Yeah, THAT’S not legal. F’ng goniff. Got the 3 egg breakfast platter today, eggs over easy. What I GOT? Hockey pucks with yellow centers. Way overcooked, inedible. Tossed them. The bacon was good, but more like shelf stable bacon that had enough fat to keep it from being jerky. That was good. The hash browns are the frozen ones, they were good, but that’s no high bar. Why ask how I want my eggs if you can’t make eggs ? Yeah, no bank-breaker, but I should’ve just sprung for a diner or went for the Sichuan joint like I wanted. My bad.
