We are accredited and certified by the US Department of Education and accept financial aid for those that qualify to all of our programs. Our academy is unique because we have flex time. You can go part time or full time, but it is all flex time which means you make your own schedule during the hours we are open. We are also unique because our Cosmetology program includes the entire Esthetician and Nail Tech programs. Our kits include MacPro Makeup, Bella Lash, Rocket Dogs, 5 modality facial machine and more. Because I work full time- I needed a FLEXIBLE schedule for an Esthetician program and decided to take the chance and go to Fountain of Youth academy. Rebecca helped me so much and truly cares about her students succeeding and the school doing well. She is constantly checking up on you to make sure everything is going smoothly, your not falling behind in anything, and you understand the process. I could say so many more good things about her. Also, Kara is a teacher there and she has a wonderful approach in teaching especially for adults going back- she makes it laid back and fun to learn and you can tell she cares about the students and their success. Also, the kits you get are extremely nice and a lot of thought was put into those- starting you off with advanced and high end supplies for practice clients.

The most unorganized school. I’ve been graduated for over 7 weeks and can’t even take my test because they will not send my transcript in. They won’t email back but they’ll delete my reviews. When I attended the school they had no supplies. Very unorganized. Different teachers every two weeks. Would not recommend unless you want to spend more $ after graduation getting a attorney or contacting wpxi just to test for boards. Would not recommend Also they prey on lower income students don’t even bother getting a loan unless you plan on having it completely paid off when you graduate or they hold your certificates. This school should be shut down

I had a fabulous experience at the Fountain of Youth Academy of Cosmetology getting a facial from Kate Snyder. It was so relaxing! Kate took her time to help me feel comfortable and enjoy my entire service from start to finish. I would recommend getting a facial from Kate Snyder. She is wonderful!

After my first visit with Kate Snyder, I am hooked on facials. She created a relaxing environment for me and it made my facial a five star experience. The products that she used made my skin feel and look fabulous. In fact, I had co-workers tell me that my skin looked wonderful a few days after my visit. I would highly recommend her and will continue to treat myself for monthly facials.

I recently had a facial done by Kate Snyder at the Fountain of Youth Academy of Cosmetology and all I can say is WOW. I was always nervous to have a facial as I wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea of someone touching my face. After my facial with Kate, I will now subscribe to regular facials-- especially a facial by Kate Snyder . Kate was fabulous. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. When I was done, my skin was incredible and she educated me on proper skin care techniques. Kate Snyder is an very talented and knowledgeable skin care specialist. I would highly recommend Kate Snyder as a premier Pittsburgh esthetician. I am looking forward to my next facial!

I have always been hesitant to have a facial because I have extremely sensitive skin and often have terrible reactions when I try new products. Kate Snyder was amazing and customized a facial with my specific concerns in mind. She was very knowledgeable about what procedures and products would be gentle enough for my sensitivities and rosacea concerns. She was able to answer all of my questions with detailed knowledge about the products and what I should use (as well as what to avoid). My daily skincare routine is very minimal and I'm intimidated by multi step maintenance. She helped me to pinpoint my greatest needs so that I didn't feel overwhelmed. I left there feeling refreshed, relaxed, and excited to try some new skin care techniques on my own. I will definitely be making a trip back to have Kate work her magic on me again!

I had a facial done today by Kate Snyder and it was AMAZING! I usually don't like getting my face touched or products put on but I was completely comfortable with Kate doing this. She made sure none of the products had any lavender (i'm allergic) in it. She also asked me before using the essential oils. Every step of the way she made sure I was doing ok and feeling good. She has a very calm voice so it doesn't startle you in the middle of the facial. Not to mention Kate's hands are pure magic. Highly recommend Kate to anyone that wants a facial.

I had the pleasure of attending Fountain Of Youth, and enjoyed every minute of it. The school itself is very sweet, has such a nice comfortable; homey atmosphere to it. The day I went to tour I knew right away this was the right choice. The teachers were great! All so nice, and welcoming. Also very patient! And very knowledgeable. The instructor Cheri is amazing. She does whatever it takes to work with you. She made the enrolling process and starting out great, explained everything and made it a lot less overwhelming. The whole experience was made a lot less overwhelming! Everyone made it so easy to adapt and jump right in. They're all extremely understanding of schedules, and have no problem working with you. So, in short, I loved the school. And would highly recommend it to anyone looking to start a career in Cosmo, or even just esthetics!

Do you want your face to look good and feel pampered?! Then you need to go see Kate Snyder. I am notorious for forgetting to wash my face at night or not moisturize properly; she single handedly saves my skin on the regular not only with her facial treatments but also her advice on how to take care of my skin. Her recommendations are customized to me, my skin type, and my life. Her facial treatments are beyond relaxing, and I leave with glowing skin - who wouldn't want that?! A dummy, that's who. Don't be dumber than a dummy and go see Kate. You will not be sorry.

She was concise and thorough, while still maintaining a relaxing, stress-free atmosphere. I felt pampered and refreshed and my skin feels wonderful.
