I went in to buy gifts for my girlfriend's grandfather and his wife for a Christmas party on Friday. I ended up buying a bottle of wine and a bottle of Scotch whiskey. Place was not overly crowded they did ask if you would be so polite to wear masks inside. Not everyone was wearing a mask at least customer wise. I believe I made two good purchases. Cashier was nice and friendly

Unfortunately I did not have the positive experience shared by others here. Cashier was rude and this was not the first time. At a minimum, say hello and thank you to your customers. They act like they're doing me a favor by ringing me up.

I did not happen to catch the cashier's name but he was very helpful. He helped me pick out a few flavors of liquor that suit my style, also gave me some ideas for drinks with them. He has helped me before and both times I have left with something different than I planned. But was never disappointed in the suggestions he offered.

I've been in a few FW&GS and it's easy to get lost with purely the amount of selection. After recently turning 21, I've been blindly trying to explore alcohol; wine specifically. Most employees I've encountered direct me to the wine section and go about their business. Today I met Cindy. She could tell just how lost I was and took me under her wing. She guided me through different sections to show me all my different options and was very knowledgeable. Not only did I have a pleasant experience, now I have the confidence to try and find what I like the best! My only complaint is I tried to credit Cindy on the FW&GS website and couldn't find any place to leave my feedback. Nevertheless I wanted to recognize Cindy for her excellent customer service.

They have a good selection of all your spirit needs. It's a very large store located in a shopping center in Douglassville (Amity Gardens section). Open 7 days a week.

It's so fun going into the liqueur store to employees in horrible moods. They know absolutely nothing about wines!!! They know even less about liqueurs, so they are no help whatsoever. I've been to Delaware's privately owned liqueur stores and my experience is quite different. They are knowable about thee wines they sell, actually knew what a "Barsac, Sauternes " was! Yes, a sweet wine from Bordeaux. They even knew the story of the noble rot that makes the sweet wine. Privatize liqueur stores is the only way to get what you want because they stock what sells, not what they want to sell!!!
