We have a good selection for largemouth bass, trout and musky fishing. Rods and reels as well. Located just 2 miles from Marsh Creek State Park. We Buy Guns! We are always looking to purchase firearms, and trade for something new. We carry target, hunting and defensive ammunition for handguns shotguns and rifles. Great parking, easy access. Staff keeps to themselves . Not helpful, but won't bother you either. Average prices. Great selection of fishing gear, small selection of rifles/handguns.

I have patronized this establishment year round for decades, especially during ice fishing season on weekends. Recently Gordon's has dropped the ball big time in regard to having an adequate supply and selection of minnow bait for ice fishing, especially over the weekends, in my opinion. It's a shame considering they're only 5mi or less from the minnow hatchery and the hatchery delivers too. The 3 occasions(a Fri, Sat & Sun) I've been there this past month or so to buy minnows they had a very shabby or extremely limited selection, terrible. In the future I will be buying my minnows from the hatchery that Gordon's does, unlike them I'll procure enough to last over the weekend. I don't know who's running the operation now but they sure don't understand how business works. There not having adequate supply's of live minnows available during a higher demand time frame smacks of incompetence and it also drives sales down. Every person who walks out of there due to lack of bait minnows robs them of other potential product sales. It's business 101. And this little bit of advice is being provided to Gordon's for free.☹️

I go here all the time and always have a good experience. Chris, Tom, and Greg are all good dudes. They are all very knowledgable, fair, and friendly. Definitely recommend giving Gordons your business.

The guys here are just freaking phenomenal. Although I came in as a first-time gun owner, I already knew exactly what I wanted before I even set foot in the store and already knew good bit about firearms. That being said, when it came to applying for a background check I was somewhat apprehensive, but the guys walked me through the process and got me my first piece. I'll say this much, Gordons is unmatched in their customer service, quality, and overall employee competence (Hudsons is up there). I would recommend them to anyone in the Chester County area looking to purchase a firearm.

I have been going to Gordon's since 1988, (14 yrs old) I was given my first bait caster from there. The current owners dad taught me how to cast a bait caster back then. And after that I bought my own first bait caster there in which I still have that reel. It's still the same bait, tackle, guns and amo shop I remember( with obviously different people running it ) but they still seem to keep to the traditions of that place which is very rare anymore. So if you want fishing or hunting, or self defense fire fires; definitely check them out and I sure you'll really like Gordon's. One of the last traditional bait/tackle/hunting shops still around.

They're very realistic in their pricing but more important is that they are a local family owned GUN SHOP without the typical testosterone puffed out chest attitude. They’ve always been just as willing to give out advice, offer opinions as they are in selling products. Shop here! Good People, good selection of used guns and a great experience. I have been going to here since I was a kid 35 years ago. They have stayed in business because they are a great store with nice helpful people. Always a nice friendly place to go with a decent selection of hunting and fishing equipment and fresh bait. They are way friendly and nicer than that other gun shop up route 100 who just have a bad attitude.
