Our Mission The Pet Pantry of Lancaster County (a 501 (c) 3 Non Profit) meets the needs of families and animals in our community through operation of a Pet Food Bank Program, Lower Cost Spay/Neuter/Vaccination Programs, and by supporting animal rescue through our adoption program.

We adopted our sweet kitten from PP, and it was a seamless, quick and easy process. The adoption coordinator was kind and personable; all of the staff made us feel super welcome. Plus, it’s a beautiful new building and you can tell they love what they do. 10/10 recommend!

We were looking for an additional furry family member following the death of one of our cats. We went to Pet Pantry with one cat in mind, but another cat insisted on coming home with us. He changed our minds and we brought him to his new fur-ever home. He is definitely a good fit for us and for his furry brother, Oscar. Thank you to the staff at Pet Pantry for making the adoption fast and easy. We are eternally grateful.

The staff at pet pantry loves animals and are supportive of them. We adopted our new cat Ethel from them and she's been joy in our house. We were new in adopting and they were more then helpful and patient we were looking. They told us everything we need to know to take care of cat and had many wonderful personnel pet stories. We have to give big thanks to Steve Pizzo. He on numerous occasions helped answer all our questions, made the adoption easy and smooth, and followed up with us & Ethel. You can't go wrong here, they take care of all their adoptions medically and socially. All they want are happy new pet owners and happy new homes for their rescues.

We had an amazing experience with Pet Pantry! The first time we came, we had no idea how quickly kittens find their forever homes. I had two very disappointed kids looking to add to our family. Steve gave us the first appointment to come see the next available group of kittens and we are forever grateful! The volunteer who brought down a few kittens for us to meet was so loving and patient as the kittens chose us. and of course the wonderful woman who taught my children (and me) repeatedly how to cut my kittens nails (fine- we were scared and you are so great at it!!). Thank you so much!!

This place is amazing. It's inviting, welcoming, and caring. The staff obviously loves animals and are very friendly and supportive to clients. Steve is unbelievable. He is so anxious to find homes for the animals. His return responses to phone inquiries are almost immediate and he makes himself available even when he is not in the office. I highly recommend Pet Pantry.

Pet Pantry helped us adopt a new member of our family today. The application process was easy and you can tell these people love their animals. Steve at the front desk was enthusiastical and passionate. We enjoyed working with him. The whole experience was overall great!

I am OBSESSED. When I saw a picture of my first cat Gabe as a kitten, I just got this indescribable feeling where I knew he was meant to be mine. I had that same feeling when I saw our new kitten Loki (formerly Jeffrey) at the Pet Pantry. I filled out an adoption application before bed and the very next morning Steve, the adoption coordinator, gave me a call. Steve is one of those people that when you speak to them for the first time, it feels like you’ve known them your whole life. Steve was so friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. (I swear he didn’t pay me to say these things, LOL!) You can tell that animals are both Steve’s passion and his life, and that is so very important to me. The entire Pet Pantry staff are attentive, welcoming, and kind. They made the adoption process so easy, and they gave my family of three the best gift of all — our fourth and final member. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the Pet Pantry and my overall experience because it really did exceed my expectations. I would recommend them to any and everyone!
