Wow, horrible customer service. Stopped in to ask if they carry a certain brand of shingles. Was greeted with an abrupt “No,” by a gentleman who never looked up from his computer. It was so awkward that another employee made eye contact with me and somewhat cringed. There was no attempt to show me other products. No further conversation. First time ever dealing with this store. They will not be getting any of my business. Just a horrible interaction. The irony is that they have a hiring sign outside. As a manager in Human Resources, myself, I can’t image what the work environment is like in this store. It was like a mortuary. Good luck with bringing employees into that mess. -KM

Nothing like this place its like cheers you walk in and just about everyone in the place knows your name and the service is outstanding Lowes and home depot aint got nothing on this place and it is bad when a small home town business can sell you lumber cheaper than a national chain quality is way better I'll stop now I could go on and on it is the place it's not ace

very disappointed with the individual the last 2 times i went here, I would recommend to shop elsewhere if they wanna treat people like this, since I have heard from a few people that emplyoes get treated the same, no respect.

My 53 sheets of drywall were not important to the 1000 sheets they deliverd today to other customers. I was first told by Craig that it would be mid morning. At noon a severe thunderstorm hit Lancaster county and they tried to deliver it to me during the storm but turned around. Spoke with Chris who stated he would call me back. Called back and spoke with Craig at 12:30 who stated he would call me back. I did not receive a call back and had to call them back after 2 1/2 hrs. Spoke again with Chris who said he could deliver now. Mind you its 3pm, I already sent my guys home for the day who waited all day for the delivery so they could hang it. Chris stated he could deliver it tomorrow but could not give me a time. After repeated phone calls, and getting no where, I cancled the order and got a refund. I understand I am a small business compared to the builders they do business with, but I expect to get the same customer experience you give the larger companies. Chris stated they delivered a 1000 sheets today. I guess my 53 sheets were not important to them. JC Snavelys was very unprofessional today.

This is a good place for quick pickups of lumber especially and some building supplies. Plumbing and electrical supplies are a bit limited... it's not a big box.

Fantastic family owned company! Great service, yard workers are quick and polite and inside sales just fantastic as well. Great supplies in stock and can quickly order and receive too! Free delivery and pick up, which today is almost unheard of today!

I just walked in,told them what I needed & they not only showed me where I could find it & offered excellent advice & tips! 99.9% of the time, they have an answer to your questions, a solution for your problems & most important they have a smile on their faces! I always feel welcomed in here & feel very comfortable about asking for advice!
