Although the local pharmacy staff here are typically rude and miserable, I don’t blame them as a former CVS employee myself. However, this is a corporate incompetence issue. (Not surprising.) CVS Health as a whole only cares about money, like most corporations. This is my gripe with doing business here. They are trying to cut corners to save money with funneling all issues through automated phone menus or third party customer service centers that can’t answer your prescription questions! The phone menu for “speak with pharmacy staff” sends you to a national CVS hotline and the representative cannot help with prescription issues. The only way to get a real person is select the prescriber option the doctors use, but then the pharmacy members scold you since it’s for doctors only. The only way to reach them is to to go into the store!!! I have switched to Geisinger mail order and couldn’t be happier. I call them, say I need to speak with a customer service representative and within 2 minutes I’m talking to someone. Unfortunately, my daughters doctor may have sent the script to CVS still and it required me to call CVS to check up on it. No answer, so now I have to take time out of my busy day to actually go there. So annoying.

2 different times my prescription wasn’t filled when it was supposed to be. The second time was horrible because my asthma has been acting up so I needed the prescription badly. I went in and handed the pharmacist 2 prescriptions on paper. When I went back they only gave me my one inhaler and not the other prescription. I assumed it was taking longer so I waited the next day (which I was up all night not being able to breath) they said there was no prescription when I called the next day. So I had to call my doctor again for him to give them the prescription a second time. What the heck? It’s really not that hard to do your job. Also next time you have a crabby attitude over the phone just think about that you are dealing with peoples HEALTH and it should be taken very seriously. I’ve worked customer service before and I NEVER was rude to a customer even if they were being rude to me. There’s absolutely no excuse for this because again this is people’s health and you should be nothing BUT professional.

Zero stars. Nobody answers the phone. Some of my calls were sent to a remote call center with folks with a severe language barrier. The service at the counter is hardly better. Last store visit was for COVID vaccines for my children; I stood in front of 6 people obviously needing attention and had to speak up several times after being ignored. The lady that eventually administered the vaccines was actually fantastic and I feel bad lumping her performance in with my overall review. Today, I called and asked for the "store manager" in the automated system, hoping to potentially resolve my communication issues with the store. That attempt has proven to be a failure as well... the store manager couldn't even get the pharmacist to return my call. I am going to contact CVS corporate in an attempt to resolve the issue. Imagine elderly pharmacy patients dealing with this sort of thing. The citizens of Nanticoke need better from a chain pharmacy. My business will go to Rite Aid but the situation still needs to be addressed by CVS's corporate division because the state of operations there is deplorable.

The stupid automated answering system is atrocious. I keep getting sent to an agent overseas, when the store I'm trying to talk to a pharmacist is less 1/2 mile away from my home. Unreal.

Was placed on hold when trying to speak with pharmacist for over 30 minutes, when someone answered I said why I was calling and they said, “oh okay” then immediately placed me back on hold I decided to go to the cvs while I was on hold and found the pharmacists all just talking to each other. Very poor customer service.

This store has very very poor customer service I've been on hold trying to reach someone in the pharmacy for almost an hour no one has picked up at all to say "can you please hold we are very busy" or anything like that which is very rude to me the least you can do is pick up and say something and my script was sent over hours ago and it is still not ready I can't believe the customer service at this location its terrible

Today I was almost charged with trespassing at my local cvs because I refused to pay the manager Chris to park there for advertisement which isn't true when I live only across the street with no parking. I then was threatened an told by officers I would get fines,towing of my vehicle an all my prescription sent back to my doctor and to never return or I will go to jail. All this for because I said no extortion of a small business owner an a parking spot. I'll never shop here again

stirpharmacy used to have great service. With new pharmacy manager service not good. can't get through to pharmacy to talk to anyone system hangs up on you. Ols system was more efficient. Miss Karen being in charge

Absolutely awful! Every time I am here there is an issue. I get texts saying my Rx is ready for pick up then I go, wait in like for 20+ minutes to be told they need more time! Dropped off a Rx for 5 pills and they told me it would be over an hour fill!! My Dr prescribed me an rx for 90 days. Picked it up for the first time, it was 90 days. When I went to refill it the next time they only put a 30 day supply without telling me anything! The last time I went, waited in line again 20 minutes in the drive through, gave up, went inside and asked for a manager because it's always an issue with time and I was told "it's always like this, we don't have the staff" and would not get a manager for me! I went to the front and the cashier told me "there isn't a manager here" I'm done with the lies and jokes that are played there. That was my final rx from CVS that I will get. I also am calling the corporate office to file a complaint.
