She was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what she was doing, not to mention extremely quick when it came to installing my hair extensions. I got my hair done by Jess and she always does an amazing job!! I have been getting my hair done by her for years and I always get compliments even months after! She always does a beautiful job and makes sure you get what you’re asking for! Jess makes sure you’re very comfortable and is a perfectionist at at her craft. Definitely recommend Jess! Wonderful experience for my teenage daughter’s first set of highlights with Debbie at Pretty Hair Salon. She really worked with my daughter to be sure they were in the same page, and made sure my daughter loved her color and cut. And it looks gorgeous!

First I wish I could give zero stars but they won’t let you. Second if you go there Facebook page they are rated so high because they delete reviews they don’t like. So just be aware that you can not trust the Facebook page. So now to my review. My daughter had an appointment with Savannah on July 31st. This was her second time seeing her. The appointment prior to this one was on June 6th. On the June 6th appointment my daughter had asked for copper highlights and she got blonde. They tried to add a toner but she was only able to get strawberry blonde. The cut was nice so we figured we would give them another shot. That was our first mistake. So at her second appointment with Savannah my daughter asked for a grey balayage. She showed Savannah a picture of what she wanted for the color and cut. At no point did Savannah say that was not possible to do the color or cut. As she started to work on my daughter’s hair she started to put in highlights. My daughter questioned her about it and stated she didn’t want highlights she wanted a full balayage. Savannah response was it will lighten up later. She also did not cut her hair as she had asked. When my daughter told her it was not what she wanted they tried to fix the cut by cutting her hair dry which just made her naturally curly hair a frizzy mess. Now we understand that mistakes can happen it how the problem is handled during and after that make a salon. This salon does not value their customers or stand behind their work. My daughter is 16 years old so when she got home crying over her $150 botched hair job I called the salon. I spoke to Sarah the manager who blamed my daughter’s damaged hair for not being able to do what she wanted. That response was something I could believe if her hair had been colored multiple times but it has not been. She had not had color on her hair in well over a year up until they colored on June 6th. So if the hair was damaged by color it was Savannah that damaged it. In addition she does not dry her hair or use and heat on her hair as she lets the curls dry naturally. After having Sarah blame the poor color and cut on the condition of my daughter’s hair we choose to make an appointment at a competing salon nearby. I then post a review on their Facebook page only to get a nasty response from the owner Heather which has since been deleted by them. The only reason I can see for them to delete the review was because Heather continued to blame a 16 year old for the poor work that her stylist had completed. When I called her out on this she told me I was not there so I don’t know what my daughter asked. I then in return point out that she also was not there so how does she know what was asked for. She again continued to attack my daughter basically accusing her of lying to me about what she asked for. Then I pointed out that I have nothing to gain from my review as I had paid for the service, made an appointment at another salon that I will be paying for and didn’t ask for a refund. So I am not sure why she thinks attacking a 16 year shows her business in positive light, so I guess that is why she deleted the review and the comments. I will let the pictures below speak for themselves. Please note the first photo is the one she asked for. The second is what she got.

I absolutely love all the girls from pretty hair salon. They're all so friendly, making sure to take care of me the whole time I'm there! Karrah is freaking amazing! She's always giving me a killer cut and color and she's a blast to hang out with while you're there. Their prices are in line with what I would expect to pay, and their salon is just the cutest!
