I’ve heard about the Dor-Stop and wanted to come here for so long. I’m so glad I did! Absolutely scrumptious breakfast. I cannot express the feeling of bliss I got from eating my fancy pancakes here. The two others in my group agreed that this restaurant is the bomb! It is super affordable considering the neighborhood, and like I said above, it is delicious. I’d like to shake the hand of whoever owns this place, because it is wonderful to have an oasis where I know I can sit and have excellent food for an excellent price (coming from a college student). My only critique is that I expected the potato pancakes to be savory. The potato pancakes tasted very sweet to the point I didn’t enjoy them much and had to salt them heavily. I liked that there were onions in them. I would maybe just add a note in the menu that they are sweet tasting so people know from now on. Everything else was perfect though. I haven’t watched the Guy episode yet, but after visiting, I definitely will.

Well after seeing them featured on triple-d I had to go check it out and the try the French toast and breakfast burritos. Neither disappointed and the staff was friendly and fast with the food! Coffee was also good. Make sure you get there as soon as they open otherwise you’ll be waiting outside before you get seated.

Good no nonsense, classic breakfast diner. Can't go wrong if you're in the mood for brunch

Some of the best if not THE best pancakes I have ever had. They are not huge but they are really thick and fluffy with a hint of cinnamon. The bacon and scrambled eggs were nicely done as well. Very reasonable prices and my server checked on me multiple times. So glad I found this place!

1st time and was surprised 😯... very tasty, friendly waitress, my walnut french toast was luke warm and the daggone butter wouldn't even melt.!!! Other's piping hot. And it was my suggestion.!!!! Yeah not too happy about that; however, I will go back 4sure!!

On a scale of documentaries to romances, The Dor-Stop Restaurant is a small-town, cozy romance novel. Weekends mean wait times of 20-30 minutes or more so make sure you plan to wait. With limited indoor wait space, you may be outside so dress accordingly. Booths are snug, and tables with chairs are equally cozy. The diner vibes include friendly service, lots of coffee refills, and tasty food. South of the Border omelet is a delicious choice as is the raspberry french toast. Sundays include free parking, but you can park on a side road for free if you can find a spot. Be careful of "permitted" street parking as well.

Had brunch and celebrated my four year old grandson's birthday. The servers got into the celebration and were wonderful! The oatmeal pancakes were awesome too!

Tl;dr- Lovely little neighborhood spot. Reasonable prices & top notch service! Great eggs, disappointing hotcakes. I had a veggie eggs benedict, and really enjoyed it. My order came out quickly, with perfectly runny eggs. I ate the whole thing! My partner had the hotcakes and found them disappointing- perhaps it was an off day. The hotcakes were served upside down, like you could tell they had been flipped more than once and the cook couldn't tell when they were ready. His "well done" bacon was limp and even the server acknowledged when bringing out the order that the bacon wasn't well done as requested. (He declined to send it back to the kitchen, as it was slow coming out to begin with, much slower than my eggs). Despite the misses, we were overwhelmed with how great the service was!! We will be coming back to give it another try, and hope for better. They have a convenient tool on their website to add your party to the wait list, for times when it's busy.

Friendly staff, good service! We ordered the Texas French toast and omelette w/ O’Brien potatoes and grits. Overall we enjoyed the meal very much, eggs were made to perfection, cheesy and flavorful! Potatoes were also good. The grits was okay, needed to modify to our liking (salt, pepper and a little butter).

We went on a Sunday morning expecting to wait long to be seated and get our food. To our surprise, this place was run so efficiently (especially considering they are low on staff) that we were seated almost right away, and our food came out in no time! The food itself was delicious! We tried the Irish Benedict with potato pancakes, and both were delectable. Not to mention the service was amazing as well. Highly recommend!!!
