Got my daughters first hair cut ever here and while the place was clean and beautifully decorates the expirience was awefull from the very first cut i wanted to cry her bangs were WAY to short but nothing to do at that point the cut had been made then she moves to the back and as she goes to cut i tell her that i dont want her to take as much off as she initially almost went to this worker (geselle) then cops an attitude with me rolls her eyes shakes her head and all as she sarcatically says what a inch is to much um excusee me that is MY childs hair and this is a service I am paying for why should it matter how little i want off or not and abaolutely no excuse for the way she reacted will absolutely never go here again Service: Haircut

Jaimie, our LMT is and was very intuitive. Her technique, her vibe, and her knowledge of how and what you need is spot on. Yesterday's massage was more than needed and honestly should have reserved 2 hours! However Jaimie worked her magic in the time that I scheduled and felt the stress literally ease out of my body. Already booked my next massage so I'm not walking around like a 2 by 8 filled with stress! Thank you Jaimie and Tiffany for going above and beyond 🙌

I won’t be going back, it was a very awkward. I was excited but the hair dresser was going between me and another Client. I asked to trim the dead hair off and when I first booked the appt I requested color. They called me to move my appt bc I would be waiting hours and hours fine moved it. Still was there for 3 hours didn’t even get to finish bc it was almost 5 at this point and I have to get home To my daughter. While the hairdresser was attending to the other client I asked if I could just get finished up with another hair dresser just so I could be done, I told her to just put t some curl cream so I could just go. My hair dresser comes back and was saying I wasn’t done cutting what did she put in your hair. I felt so uncomfortable and I felt like I was in trouble ! For the money I paid not worth it! Had my second visit with Tameka today and I was so happy! It had been awhile since my last cut, I am growing my hair out but I knew it needed some shaping. I told Tameka what I was hoping for and she did not disappoint! Incredibly friendly and talented stylist. Will be back again!

You would think for a customer that's already been here a few times, would issue a refund after 1 bad experience.......Had a stylist color my hair, showed an inspiration picture of a balayage with money piece in front and the stylist used straight bleach on my bangs and ends that wasn't necessary since my hair was already pre lightened by the stylist at previous sessions... my hair was completely fried, broken off and left it completely damaged. The color was no where near close to what I was looking for. At that point I wanted a refund to which the salon said "they don't do refunds until you have our salon try to "fix it"" to which I responded I didn't want them to fix it, the damage was already done, and they wouldn't even let me speak to the owner of the salon. I even sent an email with what my hair looked like side by side to the picture I wanted it to look like and they AGREED it wasn't right....There was a lot of back and fourth and I still never received a refund....... Tameka was EXCELLENT!! Super friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. I wanted to transition to highlights for the summer and she gave me the perfect color! she gave me recommendations and i’m glad i listened to her! we did low layers and she knew i was a bit scared to cut my hair due to past experiences and she made me feel so comfortable! Second time at DTS and have not been disappointed. Tiffany at the desk was amazing with the phone consultation...hands down! Wowww! I always try to go to the best of the best and never once had the phone consultation I received from Tiffany with anywhere else. She is very knowledgeable and thorough, knew exactly what I was telling her I needed and she set me up with the perfect stylist for my needs. Had me looking so forward to my appointment. My stylist Tameka was awesome! I left more than pleased and my hair looked better than I expected considering all the color I had in my hair prior. She was thorough, professional, knowledgeable and an organized process of helping me choose my cut, color, and style. The staff are all friendly and efficient. The salon stayed swept and clean the whole time I was there. I look forward to my future visits and highly recommend DTS. And no, I do not get paid to write this review. We love Distinctive Touch! My daughter and I go here for our cuts and I bring my friends daughters here as well who are mentally disabled and the girls always do such a great job with them making them feel comfortable and like they are a star for the day. Jeanie gave my friends oldest daughter the perfect short edgy cut and made it more manageable and so much easier for her to care for and that is priceless (she also could have charged more for the condition it was in when we showed up and didn’t, they also squeezed us in right away because it was crucial that we got in that day). The girls always do an amazing job and we love supporting local. Doug is a great guy, he has always been sweet and honest and we will support our community every chance we get! Keep up the good work, we appreciate you! We will keep coming back and y’all should too!

Lily is amazing! first time at this salon and i just trusted her to do her thing and she did amazing! took great care in her work and took her time to make sure it was perfect! not to mention she’s also just super great personality! ill definitely be back and tell everyone i know to come here!
