This pharmacy is missing every level of great customer service. I've had issues with them since we moved to Aiken from Fort Mill SC in 2020. They constantly text asking would I like them to refill a prescription. If I say no, they continue to text a few times a day until I say yes. This month they kept texting so on the 14th I finally said yes, I didn't get a text it was filled until the 20th, although online it showed processing for the 6 days. Really CVS get your act together. The pharmacy staff are rude when you go in to get your meds, not even a hello just a ugh next customer they don't even make eye contact. I'll be taking my prescriptions elsewhere.

We've been through the pharmacy window 3 times in the last 7 days. Each time we were told that it would be a 20 minute wait. Then we were informed they were out. Now my mother's prescription has expired and we will have to wait for the doctor to call in a new one, at a different pharmacy or course. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional pharmacy in my life. This isn't the first time we've had issues, merely the last.

The phones don’t get answered (I was on hold twice today for over 45 minutes, then finally just gave up) and any appointments you make online get canceled. No explanation for why iPhones aren’t being answered, or why your vaccine appointment reservations are being canceled!!!! And, there’s a 30+ minute wait for walk-ins (in spite of the fact that there were no other customers in front of us!!!). They obviously need more staff!!!! Very, very disappointed, especially since I moved over from the local Kroger due to worsening customer service there! David Spikes Aiken, SC

Whether you are inside the store or in the drive-thru, you will wait at least 20 minutes for a prescription that they have already told you via text is filled (not always the case, half the time it’s not actually filled and ready). This is the least organized pharmacy that I have ever had to deal with. It is mind-blowing to me that such a well-known and trusted name like CVS allows their business to be run this way. Half of the time they are completely out of my prescription medication, which is annoying because this has been my pharmacy for 2 years so you would think that they keep medicine in stock considering they know I’m going to need that medicine every month. There is no excuse for this bad of service.

I can never get anyone to answer the phone. I have been told a prescription would be ready at such and such then be told they were out ..then tell me it couldn't be filled until such and such date.. excuse me ,but if my doctor calls it in it is time to fill it..

Dropped off a prescription at the drive- thru window and the lady looked it over asked for my birthdate and said it would be about an hour. I just had oral surgery and the prescription was for pain relievers so I called an hour later to check before going back to pick it up. After being on hold for over 5 minutes they tell me they couldn't read my name on the prescription and she was entering it now and it would be at least another hour. I asked if there was any way to rush it a bit because I was in a lot of pain and she said "No, we're very understaffed. Sorry about that." At the window she looked it over and asked for my birthdate but they couldn't read my name? You would think a trained professional would have noticed that when looking at it the first time!

Fabulous new Pharmacist. I came in on a Sunday about an hour before closing to try for flu shot. There was a line inside and at drive thru for RXs and cashier said she didn't think it could be done that close to closing given how busy they were but she would check with the pharmacist....who apparently said ok so I told cashier I would shop, but I hardly had time to look at any greeting cards before the pharmacist came looking for me with a very friendly smile and demeanor. Since Walgreens closed on Richland, CVS has been slammed, but if anyone can make their service improve, it's her!

Horrible service! Will never go to this pharmacy again! Didnt have my cough medication in stock. They said it would be in today. No one called or text to say my prescription was filled. So, I called them to find out the status. I was hung up on 3 times. Then they told me they didnt fill it because it's a back ordered item and they dont hold them....even though I had turned my prescription in for them to fill it. Plus, because it's a controlled substance I have to go back to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription to drive 40 minutes to another cvs that has it in stock. Then the tech told me they probably filled it for someone else....nice. I explained that since I have the flu I'm trying to stay out of public places. Thanks for this wonderful experience CVS Richland....

Female Pharmacy staff was horrible - I sat waiting, no hurry. I repeatedly saw rude treatment of customers. When they got to my compound, I heard more cuss words flying in there than in a bar. Every word in the 'book'. About customers, their kids, you name it. Not in jest or playing each other, just VERY unprofessional. When my compound was ready, I asked a simple question about the ingredients and was told "If you shut up a minute I will tell you." I wasn't angry or in a hurry, but I will take my business elsewhere and make sure my friends do the same.
