This is a terrible company. The pods driver struck two buildings and one light pole as he delivered a pod. Then he drove off. The customer told him that he was seen on camera and he said he did not care. Then he left. PODS has not bothered to try to pay for any damages and won’t respond to calls concerning the claim. This happened 3 ½ months ago. I will never allow a POD anywhere near my property again! If I could give less than 1 star I would. Try to call the Greenville, SC office. You won’t get an answer.

They primarily use customer service agents from other countries where there are HORRIBLE languages barriers. The company has our belongings. We've tried to speak with over 8 agents via phone, Email chat and even filing a BBB complaint. I've still yet to be contacted to discuss any kind of resolution. This is by far the worst moving experience I've had and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone UPDATE: The company replied that they'd have someone contact me. It's been an additional week (3 weeks total now), no resolution. Now I have them trying to charge double what was expected. Now I'm forced to write a letter to EVERY corporate person that I can find.

We have used a unit storage moving service before and opted for PODS this time due to the estimate for the large container. We were told it should move a 3-4 bedroom home, which it doesn’t (maybe a 3-4 ROOM apartment), so we had to arrange for an additional pod. We were told it would take about 1.5 weeks (8-10 days) to get it across the country. We were not informed that we wouldn’t be able to schedule them to even ship our units for another TWO weeks (which we didn’t know until all of our stuff was packed and picked up). So they’ve already picked up our pods and we have to wait two weeks for them to ship. So now we’ll be on the other side of the country without any furniture or anything beyond what we had packed for the flight. So thanks to PODS we’ll have nothing to live with in an empty apartment for two weeks longer than we had planned. Never again. And I will never recommend them.

We moved in our new home on October 1st of this year. The PODS delivery person damaged our house and our neighbors yard. It took a week to get anyone from PODS on the phone, then about an hour and a half answering questions, emailing pictures of the damage, etc. The representative was (Alex Leudy). We have still not heard back from any claims people or anyone at PODS about fixing our home and neighbors yard!!! If I ever move again, PODS will not be the company I choose! I am assuming at this point that I need to get a lawyer involved🤦🏻♂️

Very efficient. The website is easy to navigate and user friendly. The drivers were kind and skilled. There were no hidden fees or agenda. I recommend this company for anyone needing onsite storage.

We had a POD delivered on 9/17/2021. We had an appointment scheduled to drop off one of our PODS. Our service window was set up from 7-10am. I got a call at 6:45am from the driver saying he was on his way. Since I do not usually receive call that early, I did not see the call right away, and called back about 30 minutes later after realizing the storage facility we were having the POD delivered to, did not open until 10am. This was our error. However, the driver did not pick up when I called back. When he arrived at the drop off location, he must have gotten my voicemail and he called me back. I explained in my voicemail about the storage company not opening until 10am, and he was obviously upset at me and stressed that he couldn't wait. So I asked if we could drop the POD outside the storage area, to which he said no. He said, " I just drove 50 miles and I don't have time to go back". I apologized several times for our error up till this point, however, from the sound of his responses, he had no interest in accepting that and preferred to sulk. I suggested he return the POD back to Greenville and that I would pay another delivery fee. He didn't like this suggestion either. I have been in sales and customer service my whole life, and this guy, Sean, was a clown. Berating a customer for a mistake must make him feel like a tough guy. He should not be in a customer service role if he is incapable of overcoming his own frustrations. I have another POD in storage currently, and if this same guy shows up, I will happily educate him. To be honest, it sounded like he wanted to pick a fight. Get rid of this guy, he makes you look like fools for hiring him.

I was 'forgotten' by American Van Lines even though I had confirmed a moving day three months prior. At the last minute, PODS was able to deliver a container on the desired date and the desired time. The price is the same as commercial moving companies but the customer service, promptness, and excellent communication far exceeds any other moving provider. I would strongly and highly recommend using PODS for all moving and/or storage needs.

PODS was reliable and delivered and picked up our container on the scheduled dates after UPackRat cancelled the night before our scheduled delivery date. The container was clean and placed in the correct location. However, our container was not large enough to hold all of our belongings even though we had accurately described the amount of furniture and boxes. Be sure to estimate with an extra 25-30% allowance to ensure that you have plenty of room!

I spoke with an agent by phone, email, as well as by chat. An IT error by PODS pushed my delivery date nearly a week. In the interim, my family was without our possessions. Their staff offered no assistance nor, even, empathy. I am honestly baffled as to how they did not lead with some sort of discount or waiver of the delivery or monthly fee. What a short sighted business model to say "we're still within our rental agreement." Why would I ever use PODS again? Why would I encourage anyone else to ever use PODS again?

Extremely courteous and professionals. However, due to busy season, pick up/delivery dates were 7-12 days out. When moving, maintaining household, and working ...time is of essence. I had to wait a week after packing to have PODS delivered and I was moving 15 minutes away. Also, had to wait 12 days after unpacking for empty containers to be picked up. If you are a Veteran, be sure to request discount during initial booking, if not they will not provide a discount. Even though there are multiple billing cycles (drop off/pick up - move/deliver/final pick up).
