Hands down the favorite stop of our trip. Went for Sunday lunch. We ended up waiting about 25 minutes The home-cooked food was AMAZING. Just like grandma used to make. The first bite of my chicken and dumplins actually made me stop and smile. My husband got the turkey and dressing and cleaned his plate. I highly recommend both dishes (of course I tried his, too!). Both dishes were lunch specials that came with dessert- Sloppy Joe Cake. My goodness how delicious. Don't forget to add an order of the apple fritters with apple butter!! Our server was amazing- sweet, kind, and knowledgeable. The view is out of this world. We were seated by a window and I couldn't take my eyes off the view- mountains and apple trees. I also have to comment on the top notch service at both the fresh market (we bought apples, an apple cider donut, a fried pie, and a pumpkin!) and candy store (we loaded up on surprises for our daughter) . Lots of selection and a fun way to kill the short wait time. Don't rush your visit. 100% worth the beautiful drive and we will be back the next time we're in the area.

This place is great! The food is very good and the shop is nice. If you like apples come here and if you don't you can always pick up an apple to try for free! I did leave of a star from them not having apple cider in and the drinks in the restaurant aren't good at all but other than that great place to go! Highly recommend 👍

My husband and i visited here while on Honeymoon in mid-July. The homey and rustic atmosphere reminded us of stores from days gone by. The people were so friendly and helpful since we were from Mountain Maryland and not very knowledgeable about the locale. The restaurant offers delicious home cooked food and super friendly and fast service. The candy store has hand made confections as well as old time favorites and modern sweets too. Plus the produce and canned goods store is well stocked with fresh, appealing goods. All in all 5 stars. Will definitely visit next year when we come back!

I think the people who work here are just the SWEETEST folks. I love visiting and buying their apples. The produce is great. I wish there were organic options. I'd buy out the store if there were. They allow you to sample an apple to know if it is what you want. They offer many different varieties. Great place to visit.

Never have I ever had such a great dining experience! The view, the food and the waitress were all OUTSTANDING!!! My wife said the ladies room was the cleanest she's ever saw a bathroom, you could eat of the floor clean. We were there right at closing time and got some free food. I'm telling everyone about this place. It was a highlight of our vacation.

Food was awesome and definitely home cooked. You get your money's worth, especially on the Fried Chicken. I was a little disappointed that I only had 2 dumplings in my Chicken and Dumplings but they were delicious and just the luck of end of the day and pot!

We always find a great variety of apples and produce. The people on the floor are exceptionally knowledgeable about which variety is best for what you want. The restaurant is so popular! You can fill up on homemade cooking.

Beautiful place, you can pick your own bushel for $32. Lots of other crafty things as well for that country feel. Super cool place and their caramel apples are supper delicious 😋 Very cute store.

We began our experience at Carver's in the market. I was thrilled with the sugar free jam options and honey. After reading reviews we couldn't wait to try the fried chicken. It was moist and delicious, even the breast!! Sadly, my sides were very disappointing. The mashed potatoes had little flavor despite adding salt numerous times and the green beans were also disappointing. I'm thinking they had been sitting in liquid for some time. The vegetable soup was very tasty. Also, the menu said each meal would come with apple fritters and cider. We were a bit disappointed when none was served. Despite my disappointing side dishes, I would return as the chicken was delicious! Monica was a lovely server and very responsive.
