I usually satisfied but yesterday I was not. I have never had this lady cut my hair. My hair was shoulder lenth all one lenth straight aroundI showed her a picture (bob) showed her an A line bob. And she keep asking ME how to cut it. " should I pull back and cut it this way or layer like this". All said and done I showed her the picture again , my hair was already similar to picture just longer. I came home and look in mirror and hair is very noticeably 2 inches or so shorter on the right. I was using this salon for 3-4 years until March 15 2022. I will not be returning Bc of the horrible haircut I received! I basically had 2 different haircuts on each side of my face! I contacted customer service for support & that was a waste of time. I never had a return email or phone call & I left my contact info. I got in touch w another salon & ended up paying a total of $40 for 2 haircuts. I’m not 1 to do reviews but when you ask for a certain haircut you expect it to resemble what you asked for. I asked for 3 inches off my end’s & layers to give my hair more volume I ended up leaving unhappy & upset for a week! A bad salon experience definitely made me think twice about who I let touch my hair. I decided to leave a review Bc this is just unacceptable way to do business. I still don’t understand why no one ever contacted me from customer support. I don’t like leaving a bad review but I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else. A friend of mine also hd a bad experience as well Bc her hair was Overprocessed & is now breaking off Bc the stylist messed up & she had a different person doing her hair. UPDATED REVIEW: I was contacted by management just a few hours after I posted my google review with a pm on my social media account & was told this salon is a “teaching salon”, she hires ppl straight out of beauty school & I should ask for a “seasoned hairstylist” Hiring ppl fresh out of school is fine but shouldn’t the new stylist be watched by a seasoned stylist & the customer made aware since it’s a SALON not a beauty school the name is SmartStyle Hair Salon not Smart style Beauty School. I was told I was bashing her business when I clearly said this was my first bad experience after 3-4 years of goin there. I felt bullied over an honest review & flabbergasted I was told to request a “seasoned stylist”. A trim & layers is something someone straight out of beauty school should be able to do. If business is suffering don’t bully someone who did a review, instead maybe ask some important questions about the people you are hiring & put the blame of your business being ruined on the correct people & correct reasons. Management !? & the employees who have done bad work or whatever the reasons for not so good reviews.

I asked for my hair to be left long in the front like the third picture, and highlights like the fourth picture, I came in like the second picture and left like the first picture my hair is totally uneven not enough blonde way to short now and was supposed to be a Valentine’s present from my husband, after spending $145 and obviously you can’t put hair back on and all the management was willing to do was even it up which is unacceptable when I let my hair grow for months to achieve this cut ! SMARTSTYLE should be held ACCOUNTABLE!!! Services: Hair coloring, Haircut

I usually try to avoid the salon, simply because I never like the end result, but I was in need of highlights and therefore chose to book an appointment. I am so glad I did. Not only Sabrina did an amazing job with my highlights but the girls were super friendly. I am so happy I gave this place a try! Highly recommend! Services: Highlights, Haircut

Amazing salon to bring your family. Very friendly staff. They have a great atmosphere and teAm work. They are always willing to help one another and step in when needed. I witnessed them having to deal with a bad client one day and was very impressed the way the manager handled it. The client was rude me out of line. The manager was very professional and took more than I would. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Always remember some people leave bd reviews out of spite not cause it’s true. Have a blessed day

I had Satin as my stylist and she was a lot of fun. i had done a self bleaching and color job and just did it in a rush, on a whim so i came to her to get it bleached right and put some awesome hot pink in. i love it. she was great company and did a great job!

Tiffany Wilkins is amazing!!! Be sure to ask for her. She is talented in all areas of the salon. I walked in needing a quick fix on on my brows and she worked me in and fixed the issue in no time. Defiantly will be back to see her. She was so polite and friendly. Watching her take control of the busy salon and help the other ladies was a blast to watch as well. Thanks Tiffany!!!
