I didn't go to the Widow's Barrel Thrift Store on this visit. I went to The Beauty Parlor which is located next to the Widow's Barrel. Both places are 5 star's to me yet I do wish Google would add The Beauty Parlor to their site.

Not bad for a thrift. The furniture prices are retail high but the clothes are decently priced.

This place is small for all the merchandise it has and maybe a tad bit high priced but it's a nice little place. It's well organized and the staff & owners are so nice & helpful to the customer. Someone commented that it smells like tuna fish. Well, after all it is a thrift store! The majority of the merchandize is not washed or cleaned before donating it so, yeah, it's gonna have a "used" smell. I like the place and I like that our community has a decent thrift store for those who have limited funds. Like any other thrift store, it's a hit or miss for finding something that you'll be pleased with so check it out 2/3 times a week, you might be surprised.

I gave it one star because it was clean and well organized. However, it's too expensive and has very little choice in merchandise. Not to mention, it stinks inside like an old tuna fish sandwich. I do not recommend this place.

Clean. Well organized store. Friendly staff. Nice selection of reasonably priced, good quality, gently worn clothing. Well organized, attractively displayed books and home decor. Well worth a look.
