That have a lot of great used gear for cheap prices. I've been able to find parts and tires for my bike for great prices. Plus they give back to environmental causes which is awesome!

Outdoor treasures abound in this little metal building off Amnicola, and you must be there to discover them. The inventory changes frequently, so each stop if a new adventure. Follow on social media for an unexpected, daily treat!

It's a cool store and idea. Not many stores like this. Hopefully it will continue to grow and get recognition. They also donate so I like helping a company that is also helping.

The gear closet is a great way to find some gently used gear and clothing. If your not if they'll have it, just stop by and you may be surprised. There is also the added benefit of supporting a local non profit when you shop here.

Cool place. Lots of neat second hand outdoor stuff. Variety of items, changes often. When I was there they did have clothes, shoes, sunglasses, camping supplies, some scuba gear, bikes, and more. Building is tough to see, it sits back off the road behind another building.

Sells used outdoor gear. Trash and treasure/ diamond in the rough kinda place. Some good deals but a lot of consignment with sellers putting up some pipe dream prices on used gear. Proceeds support clean water initiatives so well worth the trip.

Great establishment. This local nonprofit consignment shop uses its proceeds to fund clean water projects in the Tennessee and Caribbean Sea area. Inventory can vary widely & every once in awhile you'll find a great gem. Definitely a place to visit if you're traveling through or want to see a glimpse of Chattanooga's outdoor atmosphere!

The Gear Closet is on the up and up. It's hit or miss, but every-now-and- then you will stumble upon a great find for cheap! Be on the lookout after large concert events. The Gear Closet helps clean up venues and collects lots of outdoor items people leave behind and resales them at the store for a bargain! After a recent visit I noticed there's been some remolding happening over the last few months to make the place more organized and inviting. 8.5/10 would go again.

The Gear Closet is an excellent source for used outdoor gear and apparel. Their inventory is derived exclusively from donated and consigned items, which is great because as a non-profit this enables them to focus all of their proceeds towards benefiting clean water projects, both right here in Chattanooga as well as several ongoing projects in the Caribbean. With such a beautiful, outdoor oriented, city this establishment is ideally placed and suited. Some of their items are heavily used, but when this is the case the prices are definitively a bargain. Other items are brand new, or have hardly ever been used, which is perfect for the bargain conscious shopper. The Gear Closet comes highly recommended to anyone and everyone!

Well seeing as you can get better gear at goodwill I would suggest you save your time. Dirty and gross. I think goodwill would reject this stuff if someone gave it to them. Sweet girl who was working. Very nice service just a poor product product
