I took my Mom to the tea room on Tuesday (her first time). I called to have my name added to the wait list around 11:45. When I went in at 12pm to confirm I was actually there, the lady was rude and tried to tell me that she didn’t have me on her list. Once she found my name, she said it would be at least 30 minutes. At that time they were out of squash soup and broccoli and cheese soup (at 12pm they open at 11am). Once we were seated, at 1:30 we were told they were out of multiple popular menu items. After ordering our Waitress came back to let us know they were out of another item both of us had ordered. I’ve been going to the tea room since it opened, across from the former Lakeway Hospital. My mom said she wouldn’t be back and I probably won’t either. Worst experience I’ve ever had at this place. Management is horrible! I will add, our waitress was wonderful! We understand it’s not her fault.

They literally served us Kraft Ready Mac for our macaroni and cheese. Terrible. Nothing was impressive. Food City has better chicken salad.

Took my friend here for her birthday. We got the sampler platter. Ice tea was great, waitress was great. Food wasn't impressive. They put my salad on top of a mini pumpkin muffin. The quiche was cold and tasteless. Chicken salad was good. It was way overpriced. You pay for the charm of the place.

Food is always delicious and the environment is wonderful. Very peaceful place to eat. Servings are great for the price. Staff is always pleasant. If you have had a bad experience, everyone has a bad day. Also, the staff are only human. Please be mindful of this when visiting any business. This is a really great place to support!

Chicken divan was dry and grilled pimento cheese tasted (and looked) like a slab of Velveeta on bread. $13.00 for a cold cheese sandwich seems excessive.

I had the Mrs. Priscilla Salad with squash soup and Timeless sweet tea. The portions were a lot bigger than expected, and I really enjoyed every last bite of it! Even the little muffin that came with my meal was packed full of flavor, and I ended up buying a dozen of them to-go. The dining area was very well put together and cozy, and I really loved the dim lighting as well. Even the set-up inside the restroom was really cute! I will definitely be back on my next visit to Morristown!

I was hired through indeed for a wait staff position. I'm extremely over qualified but it seemed like a small family environment. My first day I was supposed to be trained with their manager. Who literally trained me on nothing. Let me add this isn't really a wait staff position. They actually want you to host and cashier. Which tbh is probably more money. Wait staff makes like 50 dollars in tips. This laugh of a manager explained how to work a calculator. What an insult to my intelligence. I hold a degree, 6 years of management in a restaurant and currently working on obtaining a bachelor's in accounting. I obviously found a way better position and still have never been compensated for the day I worked. I cant stand companies that are poorly ran and then don't pay people. Very misleading in the position actually hiring for and terrible training. No discount on food and zero breaks. I will be filing a formal complaint for wages with the labor board. . UPDATE. THE BUSINESS STILL WONT PAY ME UNTIL OCTOBER 1ST. SO AN ENTIRE MONTH Update: they did pay me

Quaint restaurant in downtown Morristown. The food is exceptional from taste to presentation in a quiet atmosphere decorated beautifully. All of their food is made from scratch and the owner/chef mingles with his customers. I can not wait to return. This is my new go to place for lunch as they are open 11:30 to 2pm Monday thru Saturday.

I enjoy everything I ordered, I enjoy bringing my family and friends . It's a bit of a Drive, I'm 15 miles from Gatlinburg, but today they even waiting for me to get there, we had the place to our self, I said it's like Elvis Presley or Michael Jackson they had to rent the whole restaurant, to have it to their self, lol. Then to all the little shops , to shop shop shop.
