Was chasing a misfire in my galaxie and Tom absolutely knew exactly what to do and what to fix. I truthfully don’t believe there’s a more knowledgeable person when it comes to diagnostic repair. Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, General repairs & maintenance

Tom charged my 2015 Mustangs A/C system with freon before the temperatures start to get really hot this summer. He charged a fair price and turned the job around in a day. Air blows ice cold now and I am ready for summer in middle Tennessee.

I have been using Tom for probably about 10 or 12 years. It is incalculable at this point how many thousands of dollars he has saved me over these years. That coupled with the confidence I have had in my older, paid for, vehicles make the 50 minute trip from my home in Franklin to his shop in Mt. Pleasant more than worth it. Tom's prices are fair, his knowledge regarding complex mechanics, as well as, the new technology on the newer models is exceptional; and, unlike all other mechanics, he does not gouge you on the mark up on parts. If it is broken, and he can, he will fix a part rather than throw it away and buy a new one. He knows when to recommend original manufacturer parts and when it is OK to try an aftermarket. I rely on his integrity and expertise to move my family about town and on the road. Today, my 17 year old daughter will be picking up her 2012 Honda Accord from Tom, as I required she take it for a check up before leaving for Mississippi State next month. Clean Bill of Health after much abuse by a teenager. Repair/Replace battery cables, clean corrosion, fixed skid plates damaged and loosed by attempting to off-road in a car, checked the entire car out for any up-coming safety or maintenance issues better handled closer to home and of course, a lot more confidence for a Father in his daughter's safety heading off to college all for about $130.00. There are not a lot of places you can take an 8 year old car and ask the mechanic to put his reputation on it's fitness for the next 6 or 7 months and not get taken for a grand or two. An honest and good mechanic is worth the drive and Tom at Tom's Garage is Great! Thanks for all the years of service.

I called Tom's Garage after calling a few places in town to have new turn signal lenses installed. Every other shop was either too busy or too pricey. Tom not only took care of it quick but come to find out I was shipped a part that was missing the proper wiring harness for my vehicle. He not only resolved the problem but did it super quick without charging extra or even calling me. He just handled it and got the job done. I'll be calling Tom FIRST from here on out. Thanks!

I've never worked for the Mr. Myrick in the review below this one or on any of his vehicles, or vehicles belonging to people he knows. He has NEVER given me even one dollar for services or a sale of any kind. Mr. Myrick is partially correct however. We DID have a pending deal on a car I was selling for a relative who was dying in the nursing home. I wasn't making any money on the deal, I was just selling the car. We DID shake hands on the deal. A deal that Mr. Myrick authored completely. I agreed to sell him a car at Mr. Myrick's price, and I also agreed to install a fuel pump that Mr. Myrick would supply, all per Mr. Myrick's terms. I shook hands on that deal, and so did he. No money was exchanged, no deposit, nothing. However, when Mr. Myrick showed up a week later with the fuel pump, he now also wanted me to install a radiator, hoses, and thermostat that he also bought. His EXACT words were, "I forgot to include installing these other parts in our agreement, but you will do this for me, right?" I said that it was NOT part of our agreement. He said, "I know, I forgot to mention it last week, but you will do this for me right? It will help me out." I said I would have to think about it, because I wanted to make sure I hadn't misunderstood his words or mine in our previous conversation. I thought about it and replayed our conversations for a few days to figure out if I had somehow contributed to our misunderstanding. But plain and simple, Mr. Myrick tried to change the terms of our agreement in his favor AFTER we had a specific agreement and shook hands. His additional work that he wanted done could have taken a few hours, or maybe even a few days of my time. You don't know until you get into it when you are dealing with a 30 year old car, much less a Mercedes, and I don't work on Mercedes and told him so from the very beginning of our interactions. HE was the dishonest person. And then he has the nerve 4 months later to come here and try and blame ME publicly for not agreeing to let him change the terms a week after we shook hands. I would have honored our agreement to the letter, and I told him so. But HE changed it. Or tried to anyway. So ALL I did was to decide NOT to sell the car to him. He never gave me one red cent, and I sold the car to someone else. It appears to me from our discussions that Mr. Myrick likes to try and play passive/aggressive mind games. I think that the thing that aggravated Mr. Myrick so much was that I saw right through his games and decided simply not to play along. Oh, and as he was leaving he said "he was going get his big brother The IRS Agent, to look into my affairs." I politely offered him a business card to give to his big brother the IRS agent and told him to go right ahead and be my guest.

We shook hands on a deal and then he would not do what he said he would. He is NOT honest!!

Tom diagnosed the issue with my vehicle within hours. He took the time to make sure it was the correct fix and was very good at explaining the issue.

Tom was able to fix an electrical problem 3 other shops couldn't find and gave up on. I can't say enough good about his shop!
