I ordered a pirate costume from Amazon for my daughter who was going to be on a float for the fish fry parade and it said it was in Paris the day before. It wasn’t delivered so I called the post office and spoke with a man named Jamie. He went and searched through a whole pallet of Amazon packages, called some party stores and even called a friend of his to see if she still had one that she wore one year for Halloween. He suggested I post on Facebook and I found one that worked out perfectly. He then called me later to tell me his friend didn’t have it anymore. It’s rare these days for people to go out of their way for customers but Jamie is a keeper. Paris post office this man needs a raise.

Dont have to visit the office much but the carrier that delivers our mail won't walk 2 feet in the other direction. They always leave my packages on the unused front porch instead of under the cover of the side door. This happens even when I give sender directions on where to leave my packages.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's known worldwide that the Paris TN post office employees are absolutely lazy. Way to go make Paris look more backwards and inbred than the world already thinks of us

So many times I have told them to have their carriers to close the lid to my mailbox because we live on a busy street, where people walk, cars driving by, etc...They continue to leave my mailbox lid open as well as my neighbors who have requested the same thing, and I have lost countless important items and important mail due to it flying off or someone coming by to take them. It's getting ridiculous...I'm just over it at this point because apparently they don't care...

They close early Very inconsiderate I actually got there at 11:56 With another customer both of us had pre-paid packages That required no work on behalf of the postal worker just scan it in but the lady inside just said we’re closed but it was 11:56 they close @ 12 I had time to take my packages out to the car think on it a minute and then go back up to the door snap a picture of the time they close and then Take a screenshot of the time on my phone. I Had a flat This morning rushed to fix the flat and still made it to the post office before close just to be denied Bad case of laziness @ Paris Post office

I had to call today and ask some pretty aggravating questions about every thing to do with shipping items off to another state. A woman answered the phone, introduced herself as Kayla. I already knew that she would not be able to give me the exact cost, common sense tells you it has to be weighed plus depending on it's destination. She was so kind and very patient with me as she was explaining all the box sizes to me and the prices, and the weight and size on the flat rate box options. Then she explained that it might be less expensive to buy another box if the weight was light and gave me estimates on exams that I threw at her but carefully explained there was no way of knowing the the prices for shipping items in a non-flat rate box, which the cost of the box chosen is separate from the shipping fee. I had no clue about mailing items off much less the prices these days. I was better that I thought it would be but still bit of a hardship....it's just something that has to be done. I forgot to ask about the fees for shipping it so it arrives asap. I plan to go in Monday prepared for the flat-rate option and the other option just in case. I'll be counting change all weekend, lol! Thank you Mrs. Kayla. I will return here and update my review if the items arrive in a timely manner in the condition as sent without any mishaps. I can only imagine their dead of getting calls like mine but she was so friendly, you wouldn't know it.

Love this post office & the people who work there. They’ve helped me send packages with ease and track packages I’ve lost the receipt to!

This place is bad, even for Paris. They close at 4:30 but the door will be locked several minutes before. As for the dropbox outside, it says the mail will be collected at 5, but it's collected much earlier than that in the afternoon. I realize no one here wants to work an extra second, but considering there's only one post office in Paris, this place needs help.

I think its quite retarded, it takes mail longer to go from mineral wells to travis road in paris, than it does to go from travis rd paris tn to linwood michigan. What the hell is the point of it going to memphis? If you see its the same zip code just deliver the damn thing. USPS you suck
