The reviews for this post office and employees speak for themselves. There are some people in this world who get pleasure in treating strangers with hate and contempt. It doesn’t matter how nice you are to them, there goal is to belittle people with glee. These employees have been working this job for decades. I know this because there are times you must come to this branch and not Pattons. I’m sure they look favorably on the reviews steering people to pattons. It’s less for them to do, not that they do much of anything. They feel untouchable because they basically are. Any private sector company would be closed if they had reviews like this. I honestly feel sorry for them because I’m sure their daily attitude isn’t left at the desk when they leave. If they can treat total strangers with such anger for any minuscule legitimate request, can you imagine how they treat their kids or neighbors when a actual problem occurs. Just know that if there is any way possible for them to get out of any request you make then they will not only do so but do it in a fashion to punish you for trying. At the end of the day, it’s a choice to be evil or good, and evil is honestly not a stretch in this office. If you are reading this, then you probably have already experienced it. Take the time to one star them even if you don’t share. I’m sure it won’t make a difference but at least your experience can be documented.

Thought it was going to be a rough morning because of all the bad reviews I read before I came in. However, Pam was wonderful. She took great care of us and we got in and out in no time for a passport application. She was friendly and very polite. Thank You Very much Pam for providing us with such Great Service.

6 stalls. Only 2 workers! They laughed 🤣 at me when I asked for my package! Told me to my face don’t have s anything sent here. Use the ups store! My package was stolen by an employee that the amazon person handed it to. Worst post office 📨I have ever been in!! Worthless! I would give zero if I could! Absolute trash!!! 🗑

Useless....that is the only work that can describe the people that work here. A mistake was made on the shipment label a coworker printed. It was dropped off after hours without being corrected. I was there at 8 and they open at 8:30. When opened I explained the situation and asked for them to retrieve the package so the mistake could be corrected. The very rude and angry lady at the counter wouldn't bother to get it.... she proceeded to belittle me, as if I she was above doing her actual job. She did not have a nametag and would not relay her name so idk who she is. She should be reprimanded and retrained and if that does not fix the issue she has, then she NEEDS to be FIRED immediately! My hard earned tax dollars are what is paying her check. Even above that is that I am a customer that needed her to do something as simple as look in the bin for my package. It would have literally taken less time than she spent berating me in front of the other customers in line.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Even customers in line were apologizing for the way I was treated. I will never grace the doors of this post office ever again. I highly recommend customer service training for your employees.

This office is the WORST!. Multiple deliveries shown as delivered, when in fact they were not. Just recently got a notification a package weighing 75lbs, and 48" long "was left in mailbox". Which is physically impossible; resulting in delays, having to work with sender having to refund or reship the items. My neighbor & I have weekly visits to exchange the mail that was delivered to the the wrong house, when the address for both homes are CLEARLY marked. We have had multiple issues with the carrier who for whatever reason refuses to close the mailbox (no mechanical issues), and have found our mail in the street due to wind, or soaking wet when raining. We had to have a rain soaked passport reissued due to the negligence of the carrier again refusing to close the box. Complaints are NEVER responded to, and as someone else mentioned they do not care because they cannot be fired.

I received a notice of a registered letter. I was home and no one rang the doorbell or knocked, but okay. I signed the form and put it back outside as instructed. It’s been a week and still haven’t received the letter. So I went to the post office as asked if they had it. I was told I had to bring the form with me. I reminded the clerk one of the options is to put it back in the mailbox for re-delivery. She told me “No, that’s not an option. You have to bring it here.” These people are clueless and rude. Guess I won’t get the registered letter. I use FedEx or UPS given a choice.

The staff at the counter in this post office are not just rude, they are incompetent. I am from the UK and send a lot of mail home. I usually go to the USPS outpost at Pattons Computers, but was around the square today so thought I’d just pop into the Post Office. I went up to the desk with a completed customs form and an envelope and was greeted with “Well! This won’t do.” No explanation or solution offered. I left and went to Pattons where the envelope was processed without issue and by someone who was friendly, helpful and had a smile (alien concepts to the Post Office) I strongly encourage everyone to do the same! This Collierville Post Office counter should be closed and the staff fired. Way to go Pattons!

Package was sent to this location and wanted to come pick it up my self just because of the fact that they never send your mail to the right address. Was told With an attitude that I can’t pick up a package early. Not sure if this is true or not a lot of people are telling me other wise. Honestly if you don’t wanna do your job then quit and actually let the people that wanna work do the job how it’s supposed to be done and maybe this place wouldn’t have 2 stars.

Employee was more interested in talking with her co-worker than assisting customers. Government job and postal employees know that they can't be fired. If I didn't need a money order. I wouldn't have come to the Collierville post office.
