Bought a Lexus SC400 from this dealer about a year ago. The salesman was easy to work with and for the most part the listing was truthful. However, there was one glaring problem with the whole thing: C/E light.
Running an OBDII scan on a vehicle is one of the simplest things you can do when inspecting a vehicle, and somehow they failed to do that or were hoping I wouldn't. Upon receiving the car and performing the first service on it, I discovered the the C/E light was on, but the bulb was burnt out. The car had code P0420, and I discovered that the bank 2 catalytic converter was clogged and destroyed. This, of course, made the vehicle illegal to drive without purchasing an OEM part for roughly $1300.
I understand that you get what you get with a used car, but selling a car that fails an emmisions tests and is illegal to drive is just unacceptable. The staff were very friendly throughout the whole process (although it did take them a few months and multiple phone calls for me to finally receive the title to the vehicle) and the vehicle was in excellent condition as described, so I don't have anything to say there. But I can't leave a good review when I receive a vehicle that fails the absolute bare minimum, being street legal. ~Grayson
