Such wonderful people sharing their time when I am at my lowest. Having the Bishop Storehouse available to me made such a great difference and the food is good!

If you're a member of the church who was run on some bad times this is the best place in the world. You'll never find better customer service. And though the selections are very slim you can always find just the right type of things that can make great meals and get you through the week or the month. I recommend this to anybody who has the privilege of going there.

This place exists to help people and the workers here do a great job at making people that come here (people in need) feel welcomed. They also remove any stigma of a person in need. The staff are mostly volunteers and yet they work with smiles on their faces and they work tirelessly. I've volunteered here myself and then have gone to help people get their orders filled and it's a great place to be. There is also a Social Services as well as Career Center here. The people are knowledgeable and very easy to get along with. The purpose of a Bishop's storehouse is to provide help to the needy, but the goal is to help a person get back on their feet. It is to sustain life, not lifestyle. A Bishop's Storehouse is there to help anyone be more self reliant in both the temporal and the spiritual needs.

Run by volunteers, but well run and well organized, just like His church. You do need prior approval from a Bishop to receive assistance here, but the quality and variety of food is excellent.
