I have been using this pharmacy since we moved to Carrollton almost 8 years ago. I want to start by saying that when speaking with employees directly, I've never had issues. They greet me every time I walk in and the pharmacists are always very kind and respectful. This issue I'm about to mention is not their fault. They are clearly VERY short staffed. I never had any major issues with them until the last year. I completely understand the pandemic caused major issues for anyone in healthcare, including pharmacies, but the wait for the drive thru is absolutely ridiculous! I thought going in would be be better... nope. Tonight, we drove through to pick up some medicine and waited over 30 minutes with only ONE car in front of us. By the time we finally got up to the window, the pharmacist had disappeared to the computer and was looking at paperwork paying no attention to the line inside or in the drive thru. We waited another 15 minutes with two hungry, crying kids in the backseat and eventually just left. 45 minutes wasted. This is not just once or twice, this is every single time I go. Usually I have my kids with me (4 and 1) and it's just easier waiting forever in the drive thru than trying to get them out of car seats and wait forever inside. Another example, a few weeks ago I went to pick up meds after work around 4:30. There were three cars in the drive thru. I waited an HOUR!! I had to have the medicine, otherwise I would have left. So by the time we got home it was well past dinnertime and it threw our entire evening off. Again, this is every time I've gone! I'm about to switch pharmacies because it has gotten so ridiculous. It shouldn't take an hour to pick up meds from a pharmacy. When I call with questions, I have to go through multiple robotic voice options before actually speaking with a person, but after I've been on hold for Lord knows how long. I am on several meds and it has become such an ordeal with this pharmacy. I'm so disappointed it just isn't what it used to be.

I would give it zero stars. This location is incompetent and unprofessional!!! I went to the drive thru yesterday, and I needed a prescription for an ear infection (urgent care already sent it in). The lady at this CVS told me I had to I had to come back the next day (which is today). She just didn’t want to fill it and do her job. That’s problem number 1. I went back to CVS first thing this morning and they tell me they see my insurance info but the birth date is incorrect, so they can’t give me the medicine. That’s problem number 2. I went inside b/c at this point, I’m irritated. They acted like they didn’t see me and didn’t want to acknowledge my presence. Finally the lady comes to speak to me, but just re-iterates the same info. Problem #3. I ended up going to another CVS and literally had no issues. They were able to quickly pull up the insurance info and assisted me. I will never go back to this CVS again and I hope it gets shut down or at least better staff!

The drive through line is rRidiculous I’ve waited over an hr before for my meds just to hear them say they don’t have it or lost it and my insurance said I have to use cvs

Honestly I usually go to Walgreens to begin with BUT my insurance changes lately require me to use CVS for meds. I’m sorry to say they are incompetent. They made transferring medications from Walgreens to cvs SO complicated. 40 mins on the phone on hold and I also filled out the form on the app to transfer medication (you have to put in which medications). I call 3 hrs later they say they didn’t have anything but that it’ll be ready in an hour. I arrive an hour later and they only had 2 Of the three medications that were requested. When I informed them I was missing my sons medication they said they would “call Walgreens tomorrow”. I literally gave them the whole day to do this. Save yourself some trouble and don’t go here! 🙄🙄

This is the worst pharmacy ever. No wonder there ratings are so bad. The pharmacy Manager you can't understand. He obviously can't run his pharmacy. He runs out of medicine that I need and I need it every month. I will be moving all my medications after this. If your smart you will never use this pharmacy. The pharmacy Manager is a joke.

Never 5 stars unless every person is pleasant, helpful, and knows their area plus how to get help in another area if they can't. CVS has consistently been 5 stars for me for many years from kids toys to the pharmacy!

This scatterbrained pharmacist kept giving me the wrong information about a medication, then kept transposing the sequence of steps when asked to confirm what I just heard. When pointing this out, she couldn't be more apathetic in her response. Hope her lack of competence doesn't injure or kill someone someday. Never had an issue with this pharmacy until they hired this person.

My go-to for any prescriptions or quick pick ups. They normally have what I need in stock, especially with first aid and over the counter medications. The coupon machine works smoothly, they have 2 self check out machines and there is always a friendly staff at the register or close by. I was also here for my covid tests at the pharmacy drive-thru. The pharmacy tech was informative and professional.

This place never fills prescriptions on time, even when set as auto refill. They do not contact you to tell you they are having issues filling your prescriptions. Automated system DOES NOT work. I have been 1 week without a heart medication with no contact from them. I have to badger them to get prescriptions filled even automated refills. Don't use them if you have life and death medication.

needs a zero!!!! In 6/7 at 11:16. Employee insisted everyone use the self check out which there is only one. 3 people are in front of me the 2nd has beer which employee KNEW she was going to have to override. Why did she take him to the register and check him out herself. Instead she made 2 more people wait and continuing to insist we use self check out. Training your employees to understand that they need to get on a register and do their job would help customers to get out quickly! Something this lady didn't care about at all.
