Was rudely interrogated tonight about my service animal (dog) and argued with about what the ADA law states about service animals. The “manager” had the nerve to tell me because she wasn’t wearing the service animal harness that she wasn’t a service animal. (This is not something that is required by law). I will be contacting Corporate to let them know of this incident so they can properly educate their employees on ADA service animal laws/requirements.

The store had some good deals. It was over crowded (with stuff) and unorganized but in all honesty most Dollar Generals are. The cashier was pleasant enough but seemed more interested in talking to another co-worker about a guy that liked said co-worker - not very PR but I didn't expect much more out of the experience than what I got. Its as good as any of the others.

They would have gotten 5 however as I was checking out the cashier started having a full conversation with the actual STORE MANAGER while totally ignoring me, she didn't even thank me for my business or ask me to return,,, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE for sure.

Employees were very nice they must not get very many payroll hours because the store could use a little bit more work. But I understand you can only do so much with so much time. But just keep the good prices

As everyone else around the world is searching for toilet paper, so was I. They had a truck come in. Everyone was being nice, helping each other, even when computer system went down--eveyone was still very nice. Hurray to employees and customers!

Recent remodel didn’t do much good. the only noticeable change is the door for the cashiers so they can stop climbing over the counter like they used to. The store is okay though I guess. Staff is always changing so there’s no point in reviewing them really. The vendor items are usually in stock, if you’re after anything else it’s pretty hit and miss.

checking out was a nightmare. the clerk was clueless and the "supervisor" was even more so. the register was not ringing up the sale price and the employees had difficulty understanding the posted signs. Then the supervisor wanted to argue, even though the signs were very detailed. this caused a significant delay for me, and for several other customers. very poor customer service.

Store was a mess which is understandable due to the 50% off on a lot off the items. What was not acceptable was an employee by the name Mark Reyna he was rude horrible customer service if he can't deal with customers he needs to find another job. I have always enjoyed shopping at Dollar General just a shame customers are treated badly by one employee that is having a bad day.

So this Dollar General has many issues, mainly dealing with the staff, but some with their systems. First off, when you go into the store, it sounds like the sliding doors are trying to break themselves because they slam open so hard. Inside, it is the typical setup, higher prices for items than you could find at your local Wal-Mart. What earned this a definite one star (wish it could be 0, they do not deserve a single star) is the staff at checkout. I grabbed three granola bars in the checkout line because they had a price cut (3 for $1). Kayla, the cashier serving us rang them all up for $0.50 each. I asked about the price cut and she was clueless. I went back a few steps and took a quick picture of the price cut and showed it to her. She looked to her coworker who I assumed had more experience and stated it was $3 for 1...I corrected them stating it was 3 for $1 figuring it was just a simple miscommunication. So Kayla, not believing the picture I just took moments ago, walks away from the register and back to the display to confirm the 3 for $1 with her own eyes. She walks back behind the register and shrugs and keeps checking me out. I state that if it's a problem about honoring the price cut, she could just remove the granola bars. She calls over her coworker to authorize the voids...1, 2...and then she walks back to her register. I state that she forgot the other granola bar void that I am not going to be paying for. Her coworker sighs and then walks back to void the third finally. She checks me out and I pay around $35.64 for my items (had maybe 5 items, so paying premium prices for basic goods...) I slide my card to pay for it and then she remembers she forgot to put the receipt paper into the printer. I ask for the receipt and she shrugs. Her coworker looks over and says the only way to get a receipt now would be to void the entire transaction and start over. I am fuming and decide to just grab my items and leave the store, never to look back at such bad and incompetent customer service. I don't care if you are paid minimum wage, just do your f***ing job. TLDR: Got cheated out of a price cut deal, almost got charged for items I wasn't getting, and got no receipt to even take the customer survey about how terrible this place is. Will never be back to this Dollar General and will be letting corporate know since that's the only way.
