I got an oil change from them. They were very professional. They also do quick inspections when they change your oil and tell you what's wrong along with their cost to change it. Would 100% recommend over Take 5.

I have used Hoover's for 30 years, BUT no MORE! I had the transmission fluid changed in my 2011 Sport Trac. Afterwards there was an issue with my transmission not shifting properly. I took it to the Ford house and it was 4.5 Quarts low on fluid! so for $375 Hoover's didn't even fill the transmission with new fluid. Service: Transmission repair

Went in for a battery and tires and came out with the engine light and every other light suddenly on. Also the speedometer wasn’t working. Immediately took the car back for them to check out the problem. They looked and said that they did nothing wrong and that I need to pay an additional 100+ dollars for another diagnostic. After taking my car to other shops… I was notified that they pulled wires loose while installing the battery. Called Hoovers back and asked if they could waive the diagnostic fee due to them causing the check engine light issue themselves. Was told “I’ll talk to the shop manager and call you back”. Haven’t been called back. So if you’re reading this DO NOT GO TO HOOVERS. I’ve heard from many people in town about being overcharged and bad work. I will never go back. They once were reliable but now they’re not. D and E is much better and honest.

They’re professional and quick to get your repair done. Fair prices and great service. Definitely recommend them! (Update) went in for a wheel alignment because I told them my car was pulling to the right. Then they proceeded to tell me I would need to pay $150 to find out if the wheel alignment was actually the issue and then tried to charge me an additional $100 for the actual wheel alignment. In addition, he checked my brakes and rotors and wanted me to pay over $450 to replace them. I left and decided to get a second opinion. The brakes had 75% of life and didn’t need to be immediately replaced like the person stated at the shop. Got my wheels aligned at brakes plus and ended up only paying $60. Definitely get a second opinion before paying. I think there had been a new owner or management but the shop isn’t what it used to be.

I recently needed repairs on my 2002 Toyota and Hoover’s was my choice to do the work.. it can be a challenge in this day to get parts for older vehicles, but Scott worked diligently to procure those and get me back on the road as quickly as possible! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I have used Hoover Automotive several times, for everything from a simple vehicle inspection to a transmission replacement. Each time, I am struck by how kind, helpful and honest everyone is. They are always willing to work with customers to find the best, safest and most cost-effective option. Scott was especially patient and wonderful this week with a difficult situation. I will always bring our vehicles here and recommend them 100%

My wife brought her car into repair shop for oil change. They indicated there was engine problems and needed a $200 diagnostic and likely internal engine problems that may cost upwards of $3,000. In our discussion with their manager, red flags went off and took it to another mechanic who inspected and found absolutely nothing wrong. The car is driving good before and after and realized they were trying to scam us into more service than needed. Very unethical. Service: Oil change
