We happened upon Vincek's while traveling. The brisket was fantastic, and we picked up some jerky and snack sticks for the road that were equally yummy! Highly recommended for lunch if you are in the area!

OMG ....ME n Baby was really hungry and we really well I really don't try don't like trying new food when I'm hungry so but we wanted some barbecue and pass this place and he said baby it's good barbecue in here so we went in I've been wanting to chop beef sandwich got the choppy and I got chips with mine he got a barbecue plate with beans and potato salad and bread so we sat in the parking lot at 8:00 and when I tell you this was so good not only complaint is that the buns were toasted or hot but overall I give it a 10 I would recommend anybody stopping by and getting food from this place and I also got a slice of lemon pound cake oh my God it was so good and the people there are so so nice so if you ever passing there stop in I guarantee you it'll be worth the wait but I also need to tell you he had chicken left over from his dinner plate so the next day I took the chicken and peeled it off the bone and put it in a salad and it was just as good so I love it and I can't wait to visit again. The best sausage I have ever eaten. In the 1990's we took out deer meat to Vincek's for making sausage. They would discuss different meat combinations and seasonings and had samples of the sausage they made. By far the best customer service I have ever experienced. The summer sausage and the link is the best I have ever eaten. We had around 400 lbs a year made and I would give some to friends and most would say the same thing "the they have ever eaten". Moved from the area twenty years ago and I stopped by there last week and bought some link pork and beef and gave some to friends. The first thing they said after eating some was where did you get this sausage. They are ready to make a two hour drive to East Bernard to taste a variety Vincek's Smokehouse sausages and other products. I tell them to bring a big ice chest with you because you will need it....

Don’t pass this place up! Great little place to eat whether you eat in or get it to go. Very casual atmosphere with friendly service. We had the BBQ and I really enjoyed it. The ribs were seasoned perfectly with just the right smoke and melt in your mouth tender! The meat market has lots of options from fresh cut steaks, ground meats, brisket, deli sliced meats and fresh cheeses. Lots of smoked meat options too. The peppered summer sausage was excellent! They have fresh baked pastries also!

Definitely recommended. Chicken fried steak was delicious. Double smoke Peppered summer sausage was perfect level of spicy and smokey and the pork and beef sausage was good as they come. Took home some of the pecan smoked bacon for the road.
